The University of Central Florida has prepared me for my future career with an in-depth curriculum and classwork that is related not only to problems that will one will have to be faced with in the workplace but to current life events. For example, in my Policy Process course, my professor gave a very detailed prompt stating that we should provide policy alternatives to suppress the impact of texting and driving. The essay was very detailed in discussing the issue, the alternatives, the policies and the solution to decrease distractions on the road. Each professor at this University has personally reached out and provided feedback on each assignment I have turned in. The faculty is willing to help and to provide feedback in order to see their students become not only successful in the class but in their profession as well. The University of Central Florida has numerous opportunities for students to get involved on or off campus, there are programs online for people to receive tutoring and writing help if he or she cant make it to the main campus. There are also scholarships on the websites for people to apply to if they need help financially. This University is serious about academics and providing the best experience for any age, program, or degree-seeking student.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2019

The Counselor Education program at the University of Central Florida is preparing me to be the best Mental Health Counselor that I can possibly be. I constantly feel as though I am being challenged, heard and guided. UCF is in the top 10 CACREP accredited school and I am so thankful to be a part of this community. I have elected to pay for my graduate education from my own pocket; I have not taken out any student loans. Partaking in this route for school payment, I have had to work 2-3 jobs at one time. My first semester of graduate school was a very big adjustment; a new schedule, a larger workload, and 2 jobs. To say I was overwhelmed would be an understatement but within my program, I felt nothing short of supported. To be in such a prestigious program, and be surrounded by such support is incredibly empowering. Anyone considering this program, I would recommend it for it's accreditation, education and the affordable in-state tuition. I'm very proud to be a Knight!

UCF's PMSM Business Analytics program strikes the perfect balance between analysis, project management and computer science. As a student without prior coding experience, I was nervous about whether or not I would be able to keep up, but our professors do an excellent job of making sure we understand the concepts and have a vested interest in our academic and professional success. The resources provided to us our endless; our case studies are interesting and I am always able to apply something I've learned in class to business situations at work. They definitely provide a concierge-style learning environment and do everything they can to ensure our success in the program. I love it!

UCF is a great school. Also, Winter Park (Orlando) is a really great city, so living there was really fun.

UCF's College of Education had excellent professors, advising, and curriculum. The blended learning format was practical for working teachers and relied heavily on classroom experiences, which was beneficial.

The great thing about the university is the quality received for the price of tuition. The location is great for many in-state attendees and the school is very engaging in terms of offering activities to involve students and foster tradition.
