"Great course. Needs more laboratory work as a core curriculum. More career networking opportunities."

"The UC Denver Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant program is more than I expected of any PA program I applied to. The faculty and students are incredibly supportive. We have great resources and top-quality medical equipment that facilitate our training. Lecturers are well-qualified and teach at a high level."

"The best thing about this program is the campus. The program itself is great but being located on a health center campus with a children's hospital and university hospital on-site and a veteran's hospital being build on-site provides great opportunities and skill growth. The campus is designed to be an interdisciplinary campus and programs/classes are set to involve other health care programs (nursing, dentistry, medicine, PA, etc.) so collaboration skills can be strengthened. Finally, the professors, we have the best of the best here. Many of our professors are well known in journals and/or are authors of chapters in a commonly used pharmacy book (DaPiro) used in many pharmacy schools. A con of the program is the neighborhood of the campus. Living near the campus requires careful selection. The neighborhood has greatly improved over the years since moving to this location but safety and comfort comes at a cost near the campus. However, there are still plenty of options slightly farther away from campus for students to live at and many students prefer the distance from school."

"No support for independent thought or research and god forbid if you want to utilize qualitative research. They want you to be aquired by a faculty member and basically do their research and promote their gospel."

"I am really enjoying my Educational Psychology program and am very thankful for the opportunity. The pros of this program are the ease of the coursework and the location. The cons are that I do not have enough money to live on while taking on a full time course load and internship."

"The Environmental Science program at UCD seem to be one of the best around. It has a very diverse faculty that is very helpful to lead the students in their research or path in graduate studies. There are numerous opportunities for study outside the classroom to get real world experience in study abroad classes. There are many options as far as classes so the student can shape the program to their benefit. My only con would be the a few more laboratory classes to be available for the students. This is something that they are working on currently so I know the program can only get better."

"Amazing and caring faculty and staff. Felt welcomed the moment I arrived. I've never met such a motivated and brilliant group of students before. The atmosphere is really friendly and supportive. Not much in the surrounding area. Traveling around Denver is a little tougher than I'd expected."

"One of the most influential reasons this graduate program is outstanding is the location of the school and the opportunities that Denver legislature and progressive nature allow. The city has many successful urban renewal and revitalisation projects throughout the metropolitan area. It also has one of the best transportation systems in the southwest. These projects enable precedence for more creativity and integration for future urban design projects. The school has many concentrations that are interdisciplinary in nature, which allows for a more cohesive learning style and a big picture mentally. The only con I would say would be the facility, its older but still serviceable. On the other hand though, construction is currently underway for a new building which looks to be an educational and sustainable anchor for years to come."

"Wonderful school, very proud to be a part of the program. My only gripe (and it is very small) is the cost of parking near campus. There are no spaces for students to park for free. Secondly, while I was issued a student bus pass, that is a bit deceptive as I was charged for the pass as part of my student fees."

"This is a public medical school with private pricing (30 thousand in-state; 60 to 80 thousand out-of-state). Little-to-No financial aid with ever-increasing fees (look at the fees vs tuition cost). However, we have almost complete access to the state's hospitals, VA, and other health programs. Yes, there is a DO school nearby, but they don't have as good a reputation with hospital attendings, residents, etc. The school has an excellent pedigree, with top-10 nation-wide rankings. The Children's Hospital is on campus and has perhaps the nicest residents and attendings I've ever worked with. If you have deep pockets or want to match into an excellent, competitive specialty, definitely come here. If you're interested in internal medicine or primary care, you'll get a much better value at a cheaper med school."
