"It is a small department so the social activities are infrequent, but the faculty and staff only want you to succeed. There are countless opportunities for part-time work, internships, independent studies, field work experience, and thesis support."

"The only cons are finding ways to pay for my graduate degree so that I don't have to take out any more student loans. The pros are many: I will have a professional degree in a field that interests, inspires and challenges me. I will meet like-minded friends that will, hopefully, last a lifetime. I will be proud of myself for taking on this challenge older than most students, and I'll enjoy every bit of it (well, maybe not during finals). ;)"

"I have enjoyed the MBA program mostly the time I've been there. Some of the professors are simply bad teachers. Some teachers are a bit better. But I guess that's why they are called professors and not teachers ,,, ,,, BECUZZ some flat out stink - - - But I think UCD offers a good mba degree and it should be helpful 2 my future!!!"

"I have limited experience with graduate-level education, as this is just my second semester in my program at CU Denver. But as a post-secondary school, it's great. The professors are knowledgeable and friendly (for the most part) and the location couldn't be better -- right in the center of Downtown Denver, making it very easy to get to by all forms of public transportation. So far, I love the coursework and the challenge of being a grad student, and I'm very pleased to be a grad student at CU Denver."

"The graduate program is very invloved with the architecture industry within Denver and is designed to feed students right into jobs in the local area. The professors are very experienced and are truly there for the sole purpose of teaching the students and making sure they bring a high quality of work to the future of the industry."

"Great school at a great value. Although you won't have the network of a top school, there are plenty of job opportunities and the curriculum is more than sufficient. The teachers are hit or miss would be the biggest downside."

"There are a handful of wonderful professors that teach in the School of Education and there are also a handful of professors who are uninspiring and unmotivating. The program requires a lot of time and hard work and the type of professor you have does effect your willingness to put in your 'all.' Mediocre campus but it is in the heart of Denver with amble public transportation to get around and check out the awesome city life."
