It was very enlightening to have such knowledgeable professors and learn all that I have. The only frustration is the financial aspect.

The best school in Human Services in my area. The staff is always there to help you to achieve your goal. English is my second language, so I have to go to the support center, and I always get the help I need. Diversity is one thing I appreciate in this program. You never feel exclude.

The experience I have is exceptional. The staff has the knowledge to prepare their students for the work line; especially in Human Service. You have the opportunity to get experience while you are in school. Diversity is one thing I appreciate the most.

UCONN offers several paths in social work and had great teachers. Teachers were accessible and thoughtful. I enjoyed my internships and felt there was a large variety to chose from.

This graduate program has an excellent emphasis on social justice as it relates to community organizing and policy analysis. This program also offers an excellent network of alumni. A deeper level of cultural competence emphasis would make this program really effective. More social events available for students to connect with each other could enhance our learning as well.

The University of Connecticut - Hartford (School of Social Work) is a commuter school and lacks a rich on campus presence. The courses are excellent and challenging. The staff are all great and supportive.I have had a great experience at this university thus far.

The faculty and staff at the University of Connecticut are extremely helpful and push students to think critically and expand their knowledge each day. There are so many opportunities for hands-on learning outside of the regular lecture hall, and instructors are knowledgeable and open to alternative modes of instruction. Being at the University of Connecticut has made me an excellent academic researcher.

This is my first year at UCONN, and everyone has been nothing but informative and professional. I am proud to say I made the right decision choosing UCONN for my master.
