"GSSW is a comprehensive program that does care a lot about their students. Unfortunately there is not a diverse student population, and class sizes are a bit bigger then would be expected for a grad program. Faculty support is excellent, and anything you want to get involved with can be accomplished with a bit of work. Many great internship placement sites, and a supportive field team to get you into a placement that works for you. Grades are inflated, but I believe that is how many graduate programs in social work are. Overall enjoyed my experience!"

"Was not much support for career development. University of Denver is very expensive."

"Statistics courses, research courses, and cognate courses were challenging. Some of the counseling psychology courses could have been more challenging. Good opportunities to work with a variety of professors and choose your own path of specialization. Lots of opportunity for applied clinical work. Denver is beautiful, but the school is very expensive, even with scholarships and graduate assistantships."

"DU's law school has continued to advance within the rankings of the top law schools creating a competitive atmosphere and allowing room for the furtherance of a quality education. The school's campus is beautiful and the classrooms for the law school are equipped to handle the latest technology. The library has extensive resources available to the law school students and has a quality atmosphere. The law school professor all come from highly respected educational backgrounds and have graduated among the top of their classes from IV league law schools making them valuable resources for students who have set lofty goals for high achievement. The main con of this law school is the price. The school itself is private and gives out very few scholarships causing the need to get student loans to combat the cost of tuition. This forms an overwhelming amount of debt incurred during law school that can be difficult to work out of upon graduation given the current state of the economy and the difficulty of the job market."

"We are a satellite program in Durango so we do not always receive the benefits of the main campus. The program does include a multitude of multiculturalism in rural areas."

"Pros: Compared to other law schools, the peer competition at DU is incredibly healthy; there is a sense of camaraderie and friendly competition without any of the ruthlessness other law schools are known for. The career services center is also very hands-on and the resources available to find internships or jobs are endless. Cons: As with any law school with a curve, students must deal with the bit of competition that comes with fighting to beat the curve with grades. Also, because DU is in the heart of Denver, anyone hoping to practice outside of Colorado might not make as many contacts during law school."

"The cost of tuition is a major challenge for a lot of students. Graduate Tax Program is excellent. I am so happy I am pursuing my degree in this field. Very strong faculty with amazing educational and professional backgrounds. Professors are very helpful and inspiring."

"This was a great program with a diversified teaching staff. The downside was the part-time program was not conducive to a working adult."

"The only cons are related to financial aid. DU doesn't offer aid based on need except for what the FAFSA estimates a student can have. Otherwise this institution is fantastic. Compassionate professors, an environment of inquiry and integrity, and one that is never dull."

"The MBA program at Daniels School of Business is excellent. The program's focus on international business and the faculty's obvious real-world experience are two key advantages. I am excited about the Daniels "cohorts", where the same class of people take classes together for the full MBA program (this is part of the Professional MBA program), giving them the ability to develop relationships that will last into the business world after graduation. The biggest con is, of course, the price tag. This MBA is not for the faint of heart or the light of wallet, but I believe it will be worth every penny."

"Pros - accessible network, lots of opportunities for collaboration with local companies Cons - far from major real estate centers like New York, L.A. A great program if you are looking to stay in the Midwest, but probably not as good if you are trying to go to either coast or internationally."

"The University of Denver is a top notch school. The Graduate School of Social Work has some amazing teachers, but the program can be clinically intensive if you are a community track student. Overall, the school is a bit pricey. However, if you plan on attending graduate school out of state, DU is an EXCELLENT choice. They are one of the only programs that offers the animal assisted therapy certificate, as well as several study abroad options."
