"The College of Journalism at the University of Florida was a fantastic place to successfully complete an undergraduate degree. Although the University itself is quite large, the college and faculty truly make you feel cared for. They are experts in their respective fields and have had hands on experiences that transfer to each course you take. I would definitely recommend it to any student interested in a career in media, communications and public relations."

"The University of Florida is an incredible learning opportunity. As a Health education and Behavior major, I found my coursework to be interesting and my professors to be of the highest quality. I was able to partner with a professor my final year to work on a research paper and it has been extremely beneficial after graduation to have that experience."

"UF's telecommunications major has four specializations: production, news, media and society, and management. I studied production, which is fairly new to the school. The program has grown a lot within the last 10 years and is very hands on. Students learn to use a Panasonic and Canon's C100 (C300 if you continue with more advance classes), Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop and 4 different lighting kits. Students get plenty of experience working on set with their peers, learning different gripping techniques. Students also have access to plenty of actors from the schools theatre program."

"I graduated from the University of Florida with Microbiology and Cell Science B.S. degree. As a pre-medical student with little guidance on how to approach the road to medical school, an early challenge was choosing the appropriate major and degree for me. After extensive research on numerous undergraduate degrees, such as Health Sciences, Applied Kinetics and Physiology, and Biology, I thought that Microbiology and Cell Science would provide a strong foundation of knowledge in immunology, bacteriology and pathogenesis, all of which are a unique approach to understanding medicine. UF's program employs undeniably helpful and caring administrators that provide each available opportunity to the students, encouraging community outreach, laboratory research, and personal growth through the exploration of academia. It is no easy program; to achieve highest honors, the student must be prudent, diligent, and excited to embrace the rigor of STEM academics."

"I highly recommend the University of Florida College of Dentistry. The highly trained faculty prepare you to be a fully trained clinician upon graduation. They provide an excellent learning environment with state of the art equipment and facilities available for the students. Not to mention, the dental tower is located in Shand's hospital. This is one of the best teaching hospitals in the world where students are exposed to anything they would like in the health field. The campus is beautiful and is essentially surrounded by a small city. The town of Gainesville caters directly to the students and the food in the area is excellent. I highly recommend this university."

"The University of Florida offered me more than I ever imagined a university could: involvement, camaraderie, tremendous pride, confidence, and an academic background that prepared me for graduate school. There are organizations to make this 50,000+ student school seem small and easy to navigate. UF offers the true college experience, complete with organizations catering to all interests, ever-present school spirit, rich athletic traditions, research opportunities, nationally esteemed academic programs, and beautiful campus."

"My undergraduate experience at the University of Florida was amazing. It is a fantastic university in regards to their academics, research, and social responsibility. UFs academic program is as vast as it is remarkable (we are ranked in the top 10 best universities!). Among the top programs UF has to offer are engineering, business, law, medicine, and psychology. UF is also top research school that works in all fields from studying diseases and viruses like Zika, hurricanes and weather patterns, combining robotics and medicine, and so much more. They use their research as a part of the social responsibility initiative The Gator Good. This initiative aims to use university resources and alumni to make a difference in the world. A few areas they focus on are the environment and sustainability, medicine, and agriculture. These three components to UF makes this school unique and a great fit for anyone who values education and innovation while also wanting to help the world or their community become healthier and thrive. While academics, research, and social responsibility are three extraordinary reasons why UF was the best choice for me, I cant write a proper review without mentioning Gator pride. I think the atmosphere on campus, in Gainesville, and globally stands out. Of course, the best example of this is on game days, fans and alumni arrive on campus around 8 am and stay for hours. The whole city comes alive with Gator pride. It is really a sight to see all of these strangers laughing and tailgating together like old friends. During my freshman orientation they said that the Gator Nation is everywhere. I didnt truly understand that they meant on the global scale and not just in the US until I had the opportunity to study in London for the summer of my junior year. I happened to be wearing a Gator scarf out one day and a complete stranger started to enthusiastically chomp across the street. Im sure everyone thought we were insane, but for a moment I felt like I was back home, in a foreign country. It was honestly an amazing moment for me, and it made me realize that choosing UF was the best decision to me. I hope anyone who needs advice with this decision thinks about the atmosphere of the school before deciding whether or not to attend. You may be in college to earn your degree, but youll be there for four years and having an atmosphere thats a good fit for you is important."

"As a pre-veterinary student at the University of Florida (UF), I have had outstanding hands-on experience with animals, especially food animals. UF has a horse, beef, dairy and a swine teaching unit where students can take management courses and even gestation courses to assist with births. Additionally, UF has an amazing veterinary graduate program and a pre-vet program that prepares students for graduate school."

"I liked the quality of instruction and the caliber of students at my university. I do wish I could have tailored my Master's Degree more than a standard MBA, though. The most important lessons I have learned on leadership and emotional intelligence were gained from experience, not the coursework."
