"The Accounting program at the University Louisville prepared me to understand all aspects of the business environment by requiring classes in the different business disciplines. The accounting courses were taught by professionals who had worked in the industry thus were extremely knowledgeable in the subject they were teaching. The staff at the University was engaging and would gladly answer any questions that came up throughout my term at the University."

"I was not very impressed with the academic professionalism of this University (The University of Louisville). I have attended other colleges and when comparing there were several things I did not like. I did not like the location of this University. It is unsafe and in an unsavory area of town. If you are looking for a college experience, this is not the college/University for you either. It is not a campus that is lived on really, the students are usually from the area or rent apartments in the town, not live on campus. It is a small campus so you can walk everywhere easily, but like stated above, it's not an area you would really want to walk around in. The University does have a wonderful art museum (The Speed Art Museum) and a pretty cool planetarium, but other than that, I was not impressed."

"The Asian Studies program at the University of Louisville draws from classes in the Humanities, History, Asian Studies, and Political Science departments. Chinese and Japanese are taught on campus, plus there are study abroad options. Try to form the major to your choosing. You can make this degree or graduate certificate program work well for you. The advisors are nice, so as long as your electives deal with Asia, you will be fine. Certain classes are required but they are not too hard, nor is most of the program dictated to you, thus not giving you much option for customization. Some students major in Asian Studies while having a minor or another major (double major). So this can be the main thing you do or a part of something else you want to do with your time on campus. Enjoy."

"I went to college at the University of Louisville, where I studied biomedical engineering and graduated in 4 years with highest of honors, I participated in several research opportunities too within clinical translation, as well as basic science. I went on to apply for medical school and was accepted to the University of Kentucky where I just completed my first semester and with my second semester coming up I am seeking some financial aid to lighten the financial impact that this has had on my family"

"I never had any problems with anything while attending U of L. I enjoyed my instructors and never felt too overwhelmed with course work. Now I am currently an on-line student and it seems to be going well. I had to take a leave of absence for a year, but I m looking forward to restarting in August."

"I really enjoyed attending UOFL. I liked that most of my classes that were involved with my major are in the College of Business, that way I am not running across campus between classes so I am not late. I do wish that UOFL offered business school classes online though. Because I always had to attend class in an actual classroom, I felt it was hard to get an internship or even go ahead and apply for jobs towards the end of my degree because not every company will work around school schedules."

"My college experience at the University of Louisville was phenomenal. I felt welcomed and appreciated and that can be difficult at predominately white institutions for African-American students."

"The department of psychology at the University of Louisville is composed of a wonderful group of intelligent, caring individuals. It is a conducive environment for both academic and personal growth. You will forever value the connections you make with the faculty and your peers (facilitated through the small class sizes). Do not expect coursework to be excessively difficult or rigorous. If you thrive on challenge, you will need to create it for yourself through your individual research."

"The Clinical Psychology doctoral program at University of Louisville is notably rigorous and research-centered. The first two years of training are centered on clinical skills acquisition, publications, and writing experience. The second two years are heavily focused on research including research design and implementation. The final year is spent on internship. Internship match rate is considerably high in comparison to other programs, excluding 2014. Training is CBT oriented, although psychodynamic and integrative approaches can be explored with specific professors. Doctoral students begin seeing clients their first semester at the Psychological Services Center, a student-run community mental health clinic located on campus."

"While most of the faculty I have gotten to work with have been nothing but successful and supportive, there have been a few instances of politics and such within the department, which does impact the graduate student experience depending on the outcome of those politics. I don't find that we have great recruitment efforts, but I would consider the program itself to be pretty high in quality to create a well-rounded graduate."

"It is clear that the faculty and staff care deeply about their students and want to do their best to ensure that we have the best and highest quality experience during our time here. The students are friendly and very supportive and helpful. The program has a great, supportive rather than competitive attitude and atmosphere, and it's great to feel like there's always someone I can ask for help if I need it."

"Compared to other college campuses, UofL was much cleaner and "compact" where going from class to class was easy and less than an 8 minute walk. You don't realize how important this is until you oversleep or have a tight class schedule or have to fight walking through snow or rain. Great sports teams, plenty of student organizations to get involved with, very diverse student population which allows you the opportunity to really appreciate ALL people and cultures. Fantastic professors and resources to get the most out of your time while enrolled. I would highly recommend UofL to anyone looking for the best overall college experience."
