"The class sizes are pretty big except for Legal Writing and Research. The community-campus relations are exceptional. The professors are very welcoming and interactive with students. However, if you have a very high GPA but your LSAT score is point or two below median you will not be offered a scholarship."

I have learned a lot of information on how to promote the health of communities as well as individuals. "Tell us about your college experience. My school fit me well. The warm climate and beautiful campus was inspiring. School spirit was a major influence and part of the daily life on campus. The professors are highly knowledgeable and encourage open discussions.Would you get the same degree if you could start over?Yes, I would choose the same degree. My degree is sought after by many employers. I enjoy this field of study and also have job security. What advice can you offer other students?Limit the amount of student loans you receive. If you are able to handle a part time job while continuing your studies, it will pay off in the end with reduced debt. Start your career with a clean slate and minimal debt."

"It is a very useful program to get into professional schools by increasing your undergraduate GPA but it is also very difficult and it is only a year so the grades you get really matter. one mistake and it will be almost impossible to recover!"

"The pros of the graduate program are that I get to go to school close to my home and my family. I will get a chance to learn a lot about the profession awhile working a full-time job. Some of the cons of the program are that it is possible to fail the program. That's a scary thought."

"Obtaining my Masters in Criminal Justice, thus far, has been an interesting journey. I've developed a passion for the field and I've networked and established relationships with my professors. My field encourages me to retain any information that is valuable to assist in making this world a better place. Although I take education very seriously, it has been a struggle to maintain working on a daily basis and taking on the role as a full-time graduate student. Although the education is full of rewards, working and paying for school can be quite stressful."

"There are many pros and cons with the criminal justice graduate program at the Universtity of Mississippi. Some of the pros include affordability, knowledgable staff, and diverse subject matter. Some cons include limited class schedude. While the university has a limited class schedule because of lack of funds flowing into the faculty as the student body increases, the universtiy remains an affordable public universtity that employees an energetic and knowledgable staff that brings to the table an array of expertise in diverse subject matters."

"Great Faculty!!! They are always accessible and ready to help. Challenging courses. I like that the classes are small so the students are afforded the attention and learning experience that they need to succeed. There are many opportunities to learn outside of the classroom - student run clubs and organizations, labs, dining."
