Since the program is an online course, sometimes its nerve wrecking having to wait on professors to reply email. Some are response as early as they could and help students understand whatever questions they may. I would wise lectures incorporated a live session at least once a week so students to interact with teachers live. Although this was done for some classes is it very few. I recommend there be live class sessions for online graduate students for elective and required classes. I see it as a very productive method. Classes are intense and demanding and keeps us on our feet which is good.

as an online student it is difficult for me to say anything about campus. However I believe that I am receiving a solid education. They have an excellent staff there to support my efforts and answer questions I may have. I have had an excellent experience thus far

I have learned more in my one semester at UNE than I did in my entire undergraduate program. I am a much better therapist than when I started. The faculty are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. They seek to create a learning environment that immerses us in the functional practice of being a social worker. We are given many opportunities for internships and ways to get involved in the community. The only area for improvement is the Hybrid Course program. It is new and needs to be ironed out a little bit. It was confusing for students who had never participated in a learning experience like it.

Although the online experience is different from the campus, being there is less chances of socializing with others on campus, there is still the ability to exchange information with online classmates. I'm a single mother, struggling daily due to my husband passing from cancer a few years ago and know that in order to give my son and myself a better life, I need to return to graduate school. I'm hoping to get through this and succeed so to better myself as a person and show my son that achieving in things will pay off in the long run in life. Never give up!

Since I was an online student I am unable to rate certain areas. The program is fantastic pushes students to succeed the professors are very willing to help and hear concerns from students. It is a little difficult to complete group projects online but they are required to be a good professional.

As an online student I can not rate the on campus questions. I do however know the Biddiford area and I can say that it indeed offers a wide variety of social, entertainment, and job opportunities for on campus students.

This is my first online program, so it has taken some getting use to. It is my belief that online programs have more of a workload than a traditional setting. Overall, I am enjoying and learning from this MSW program.
