On-line is beneficial if you are a self-starter; need self motivation; full-time parent; have a full time job

The pros were defiantly being able to do your work online in the comfort of your own home and when you were able to do it with in deadlines. The cons were defiantly the cost, being an online program the cost was must higher, you are paying for your comfort. I would recommend UOP to working people or parents wanting to go back to school.

The University of Phoenix has changed my life. The University of Phoenix created an online environment that I am able to excel in my online classes, maintain the information, and use the materials in a real life setting. I have received a top of the line education with University of Phoenix and have been supported by my academic and financial advisors through my journey. I owe my fabulous educational success to the people of the University of Phoenix because their programs created a way for me to maintain my duties as a parental unit, an administrative assistant, a domestic partner, and as a student. The University of Phoenix graduate program has provided interesting topics, educated instructors, and an positive learning environment.

This graduate program allows me to earn my degree while having a career. I am able to learn and complete assignments at my own pace while I am in the working world. Since it is an online program, I find that there is more work. For example, in order to participate we need to post on discussion boards where we have to cite references and hit a certain word limit. If I was in a regular classroom setting, I would participate by raising my hand and speaking. The online program is a lot of writing however it best fits my current work schedule.

I love this graduate program because it is offered online, which is honestly the only way that I would have been able to return to school. The workload can be difficult to manage at times, but I love that I am able to complete my work at a time that works the best for me and my family!

The University of Phoenix coursework is very informative, providing several tools on the student website to use at your own discretion to help prepare and guide you along the way in completing the program that you are enrolled in. However, the support by faculty and their explanation of these resources is unclear at times leading to many discrepancies.
