This online program is challenging and the networking is great.

So far, my school has proved to offer a nursing science master's program that can be completed while working full time. It is definitely hard work but the more time you dedicate to it, the more you learn. The teachers are very accessible via email, telephone and even text messaging. They are very nice and try to answer all questions in a timely manner. Being an online program, there are always the technical cons like web pages or links not working but they have an excellent technical support department that is available 24/7 and so far they have fixed every problem I have had. A very big pro that works perfectly for me being a nurse is the availability of the material online. I do not have to depend on teacher availability or class times. I can work on anything at anytime however I want.

The Univeristy of Phoenix provides students the flexibility to attend courses when it fits into their schedules. However, because you are not physically going to class, it does take some discipline. The academic advisors are not always knowledgeable, especially when the classrooms are being modified. However, the instructors are knowledgeable and always helpful.

I am happy with the way the UOP online graduate program is formatted and presented to the students. The basic class policies and procedures are the same across all classes, so the only changes are class materials and assignments. Even though the classes are online, the professors are readily accessible and stay in frequent contact with the students. The school counselors are very supportive and they help to create a schedule that is convenient to the students. I would recommend UOP online or campus classes to any working adult; when you have to work 4 hours plus, traditional college is very hard. UOP makes adding school to your life a little easier to handle.

The program is difficult, there is no doubt about that. If it were easy, then the U.S. population would have many more MBA graduates, rather than the approximate 6% of its population that holds a master's degree. The online forum is very engaging and allows students to learn from the faculty, each other and the materials provided. I have been fortunate to learn alongside people residing in Central America, Indonesia, Asia, Europe and throughout the U.S. This type of diversity is unrivaled and leads to many more personal and professional growth opportunities. When I complete this degree, I plan to pursue a PhD with the same university.

University of Phoenix has a great graduate program. It works with your schedule being online, but still has valuable interactions with other students.

I have not had good luck with Tech Support. The workload is a bit extreme as I am a full time employees and have a small seasonal business. The workload is also excessive when maintenance is performed on the system late hours which is the only time I am able to attend. Other than that, I am UOP alumni and am hoping things get better as this is only the beginning of my degree.

The online classes are very intense since they are six weeks. There is a tremendous amount of information to learn and discuss during this short time but it is planned very efficiently and thoroughly.

I enjoy the online program because the program gives you the opportunity to attend school on your own time. I am able to work, raise a family, and complete graduate school at the same time. I am able to take care of my children and attend school without the added daycare expense. The program is fairly competitive with research based studies. I believe I am receiving a quality education. The program, however, is fairly expensive with little access to financial aid and scholarships. Most scholarships found are for undergraduate students.

It is a great program and school. I really like the ability to be able to do homework when and where I need to being online. The program curriculum is very competitive and current with other institutions.
