When I applied for University of Phoenix (UOP) I did it online. I wasn't sure if it was something I wanted to do or not but I went for it. Within minutes of applying I received a call from the school. They answered all my questions and made me feel at ease with the whole process. Even after I started my academic representative called me before every class and to ensure I was doing fine and to see if I needed any help. She was with me every step of the way. I would definitely recommend this school to others.

I really love the online learning. It provides me the flexibility that I need. Some of the instructors are great and make themselves available day or night. The first year residency could have been more informative with more work that would have given me the opportunity to gain knowledge that was gear toward my specific degree program.

The University of Phoenix online program has given me the opportunity to go to school and earn my degree while working and raising my family. I have achieved getting my Bachelors degree thru UOP online and looking to further my education by getting a master degree. While I am assigned an advisor for both student issues and financial, I am not limited to talking to just those advisors. If they are unavailable another will step and address my question and help me with what ever issues I may be facing. The university also provides multiple aids to help all their students online and on campus. The career guidance link and life resource center are great resources to help me further my career path and face difficult life challenges. The instructors in class are also great. They provide opportunity to connect with them no matter what time zone you live in. I have been able to communicate with several east coast instructors even though I live on the west coast. The commitment and dedication of all the staff and instructor helps me obtain my goals and feel supported in my efforts to broaden my education. This is why all my higher education will be done thru University of Phoenix.

University of Phoenix MSN program is very rigorous but rewarding at the same time. The professors are great and provided much needed feedback throughout the course. My academic counselors and advisors are always available when needed to answer questions and guide you in the right direction.

Degree: Healthcare Administration
Graduation Year: 2016

I am a single mother who wanted to study for my Bachelors degree but did not have the time as I worked two jobs. I tried enrolling in the traditional collages where physical class attendance was mandatory but this did not work out. I googled colleges that had online courses and a number of colleges came up with University of phoenix among them. I submitted my online applications to all of the three colleges. After 10 minutes an enrollment advisor called me. Unlike the traditional college where I had to make an appointment to meet with an enrollment advisor, the University enrollment advisor called me to start the process of enrollment. In addition, there was no long wait to speak to the enrollment adviser personnel. The University of phoenix enrollment adviser was very professional and offered very intelligent advice. The University of Phoenix has frequent admission that enables students to start their classes when they are ready. The university instructors had vast Knowledge and experience in the field of the courses they taught. I received the theoretical and practical parts of the courses subject matter. The group work prepared me to deal with different personalities in real work situation. When I got a job as a new graduate, I did not need many days for orientation because I knew what to do from the practice I received in the University of Phoenix group work and instructors advice. Most of the existing work mates in the facility I was employed in came to me for advice and could not believe that I had just graduated. My Level of experience did not match the chronological years in the field. My academic advisors called me on every week to check how I was doing and encouraged me to continue the good work. This was a good motivator because when I had some difficulty in a course he or she redirected me to where I receive help. The standard of the material taught are very high as manifested in knowledge I displayed at work and frequent questions asked by some of my coworkers who attended traditional schools. The University of Phoenix has enrolment advisors who are quick to respond to the applicants, have the patience to accommodate new students concerns, and thoroughly walk students through the process of the financial aid application. The University of phoenix has frequent admission circle that accommodates new students schedule. The instructors have vast knowledge and experience in the subject taught. The Student team work is a good preparatory experience for student to apply in their workplace after graduation. The academic advisors' frequent checks on students a month add to the many quality services the University of Phoenix offer.

No program is perfect, but my online MA through UoPx was a great choice for me and I would recommend it to other busy people. I was able to complete my classes when I had time without taking too much time away from my "real life", one class at a time so that I could focus. Now I'm working on my Doctorate , so I'm even taking my own recommendation.

As a Doctoral Student working on my Dissertation, I have found the University of Phoenix continues to meet my educational needs. My Dissertation Committee is comprised of three Doctors of Education, who are well suited to help guide me towards successfully joining them in the same field. The University is well staffed with academic and financial advisors available to help online students navigate challenges as they arise. The school has a residency component, that allows graduate students to meet with instructors at least once a year. I am looking forward to graduating December 2016 as an alumni of the University of Phoenix.

The University of Phoenix provided me the opportunity to have a work/life balance while pursuing higher education in MBA. All of my courses were 100% online, and I recommend anyone who decides to pursue higher education. Those who are seeking to advance their career or to gain the essential understanding the ends and out of how businesses are structured, UOP is for you!! Overall, all of the instruction are hands on with their students and willing to help everyone understand the course material. My learning experience has helped me in my current organization, and I am proud to be a part of an excellent school. I will be returning for another degree from UoP. Go UoP!!!
