College is beneficial. The bachelor's degree is now the new 'high school diploma'. It is a necessary evil for job growth and supporting a family outside of trade jobs.

It's a very good university for working women like me. It enables people to pursue a degree while still making a living and taking care of a family.

college is all about what you choose to make of the exprience. If you choose to be lazy and not put in the work, you will not be successful.

University of Phoenix has a very challenging online program with facilitators that have real world experience. They are professional experts in their fields. There is a lot of team work assignments which teaches and prepares you to work with diverse people of different talents and weaknesses on a global scale. You must be motivated and disciplined to teach yourself and find resources that will help you independently. If you can do that, this is a great school for you.

University of Phoenix is the catalyst for propelling into professional development and business ownership. The advance studies curriculum is the most inspiring academic experience, which teaches leaders how to rise from where he or she perceives himself or herself. The advance business school engages the student to learn how risk in innovation and creativity must exist in all industries to some degree in a global economy. The program includes people from every spectrum throughout the globe, which enriches the academic journey with useful information. The information received in the program helps to develop and change positive perspectives about managing risk in business. A phenomenal program that has help to change the trajectory of my professional and business goals.

Degree: Education
Graduation Year: 2017

University of Phoenix on line Masters Program was demanding yet rewarding. As a mother of three and working professional who had not been in school since 1993, I was concerned if I had the stamina to undertake the challenge of getting my Masters On line. I found the UOPX to be a perfect fit for my learning needs and relevant to what I wanted to gain from a Masters Degree. Although it was demanding and required a great discipline of time management, I found that it also provided great flexibility and I made great friends with my online collaborative learning teams. It actually transformed into a tight learning community which I enjoyed. I not only gained employment immediately, but I am also enrolled to continue on to get my Doctorate March of 2018.

Degree: Secondary Education
Graduation Year: 2018

I feel this program has prepared me adequately for obtaining my certification. From the academic advisors to the instruction in my classes, everything and everyone has been prepared and organized to help me succeed. They have always answered my questions in a timely and professional manner. The amount of work required in each class wasn't overwhelming, but did keep me on my toes. Some of it felt like busy work, but most of it had good educational value to it. I would prefer to traditional brick and mortar college in this type of program as I learn better in face-to-face interaction, but this was not doable in my current situation as a military spouse. So this online program fit with my lifestyle. I would recommend this program to anyone considering going into teaching as a second career and who needs more individual freedom in their schedule.

Degree: Healthcare Administration
Graduation Year: 2018

I received a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration with a concentration in Heathcare Management Jan. 2016 from University of Phoenix. The university offers opportunities for the working populations to continue their education. The university offers certificates and degrees that help improve one's future and enrich their life. As a student for the past 5 years, I have always been able to receive assistance when needed. The facilitators are professional and express their concerns in helping the student be successful.
