Degree: School Counseling
Graduation Year: 2014

Pros: Most of the professors are knowledgeable and provide great feedback on assignments. Most are accessible by email and have a quick response. I feel that overall quality of instruction is good and I would recommend to a friend or colleague. Cons: I personally did not have any problems with Financial Aid, but I knew of people who did. I had to stay proactive with my advising sheet, transcripts, and term schedules to ensure I graduated on time due to classes not being offered or having last minute changes. Books were too expensive, rent the book and then decide if you want to purchase for your own library, plus some were not used to its full potential. Overall rating would be a high rating, just stay proactive and learn about what the college offers.

I am honored and proud to be earned a Master of Arts in Higher Education Degree from Univeristy of Redlands. They offer an excellent Master of Arts in Education program. Their curriculum, instructions and course classes designed around "Academic Excellence and Educational Justice". The faculty are friendly, open, approachable and knowledgable in their field.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2015

This is an excellent program for anyone interested in becoming a school counselor. The work is challenging but pertinent to the career and is intended to prepare the student for the real world of counseling in K-16 environment. The professors and advisors are involved and knowledgeable. It is apparent that they want what is best for their students and want a well organized program.

University of Redlands is more focused on the undergraduate students, so graduate students don't get to take advantage of many things undergrads do-- i.e. on-campus counseling, gym, etc. The hours of the school also revolve around the undergrads, so when they are on spring break many of the hours for necessary things (like library and cafeteria) are different and not available for grad students that are on campus late. Working with financial aid has been a hassle and adjusting my schedule is more difficult than it should be. Despite those things, U of R is a great school and I'm very happy with my graduate program.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2014

I really enjoy my graduate program because the professors's are approachable and I feel that I have learned a great deal since I began the program. Also, I like how we are able to begin our interenship the second semester because I feel that the hands on experience helps me better understand the material I am being taught in class. One of the cons is the cost of graduate program because since Redlands is a private university the cost is much more than a Cal State. On another note, I really like having smaller classrooms because I feel like I learn better in a smaller class setting where if I went to a Cal State school the classroom would be much larger.

Degree: Communications (Speech Pathology)
Graduation Year: 2013

Wide variety of opportunities for students to work alongside faculty members and out in the community. Small classroom environment provides one-on-one attention to students. Unique on-campus clinic provides real-world examples and hands-on opportunities for all students. Graduate program prepares students for working in both the medical and educational sectors of speech-language pathology. The University of Redlands provides such a dynamic learning environment and prepares students well for post-graduation.
