Degree: Pharmacy
Graduation Year: 2019

I spent most of my lifetime growing up in Buffalo, New York. While I have made lasting friendships and established myself as a individual in both an educational and professional sense, I have never truly felt connected to my undergraduate university. Making the decision to move and accept work as a PhD student at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) has been the single best decision of my educational and personal career. The professors at VCU have not only the experience and know-how to teach students, but the patience, approachability, and friendly characteristics which enables me as a student and future industry employee to strive for greatness and never settle for less. Studying various aspects composing Pharmaceutical Sciences is no easy task but with the guidance from all professors within the Pharmaceutics department at VCU, I have been and am continually given the knowledge to succeed in the future.

Graduation Year: 2013

It was a really intense 2 year program built specifically to prime students for working in the advertising industry. Creativity was stressed over business.

it is important in learning to think critically, but understand the monetary debt you will be in afterwards.

Degree: Social Work
Graduation Year: 2019

After obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, I had an idea of what I wanted to do in the profession but I wasn't exactly sure. I have always been interested in the field on mental health and have had some experience through internships and jobs but I haven't had the educational part to it. With VCU's social work program, I am able to focus in on mental health and take the two years to becoming fully competent in the area. I am provided lots of learning experiences as well as educational opportunities. The staff and fellow classmates become your biggest supports as well as role models. If you have your BSW and want to gain higher education or even have your Bachelor's Degree in a different field but are interested in social work, challenge yourself and apply to VCU's MSW program, it will be the best decision of your life.

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2015

College can surprise you. Some of my favorite classes were entirely outside my major or what I thought I'd be interested. Even a couple of years out of college, I almost wish I could go again to take more classes. I miss learning!
