Degree: Management
Graduation Year: 2017

Not only does Walden cultivate and motivate the scholar/practitioner in me, but Walden's focus on social change has literally changed the way I view the world around me. The only true con is the one that exists for all universities and colleges and that is the rising cost of education.

Degree: Instructional Technology
Graduation Year: 2015

The Graduate program in which I am enrolled enables me to learn hands-on with a flexible schedule. I am able to apply what I am learning directly into my teaching of secondary students. A Masters in Education with Integrating Technology Into the Classroom has changed my teaching and made an impact on the way my students learn. They are engaged and excited and best of all, they are learning what it takes to enter the 21st Century workplace. I am proud to say that my students can collaborate, problem solve, and use technological tools that demonstrate what they know and are able to do. Walden University has invigorated me and my teaching has improved as a result.

Walden University's online graduate program allows the flexibility for me to continue my education while being a mother of 2 children under the age of 2.

Most of the instructors understand the importance of school and work. However, you will get a few instructors who believe that school should be your primary focus. All in all, Walden University has been wonderful and I have learned vast amounts about society around us.

Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2015

Since the school provides online courses, I don't know much about the surrounding area. It would be great if Walden offered Fellowships for students enrolled in the doctoral programs.

It was a great school with good ideals. Some of the professors leaves much to be desired. The workload seemed comparable to other schools. Can definitely use better career placement services.

I would hurry and choose another school. This school is anti-degree. If you want to spend 4 - 6 years going to school for no reason this is the place. The faculty claims "social change" and shows no mercy. So I would write a paper, print it, put it in your dogs cage, and boom "bob's your uncle" and you have as much as you're going to get. Get comfy because they have a list of APA excuses that never end. SPEND YOUR MONEY ON SOMETHING THAT HAS A RETURN. Once I put my new degree on my resume the job posters scattered faster than a cockroach at a RAID party. Go to a real campus. Make the investment, and hold your staff accountable. Hiding behind email and the eclassroom is for the faint of heart. Go big or go home. This is not your school.

Degree: Social Work
Graduation Year: 2016

I was incredibly skeptical about attending this school, however, I have come to absolutely enjoy it. There are opportunities to use the social network and meet with other students through the residencies. After meeting with the faculty through residency and adobe connect, I feel very encouraged and comfortable with each of them. It really is an excellent program.

This program is great because it is convenient it's online program. The down side is setting up my own practicum and the out of town residencies.
