The online program allows me to schedule class time around working a full time job and family obligations. The teachers are enthusiastic and quick to respond to questions and assignment evaluations. The university provides an academic advisor who is available to assist with class scheduling and ensuring that new students are familiar with the online process. Overall, a positive experience for me.

Walden University is an excellent school to obtain an online degree. The professors are very active in the student learning outcomes. The professor are extremely supportive of the students' success. The advisors are very helpful and checking on the students via emails or phone calls. I am blessed to be attending a University who mission statement and values are committed to the students and to the community. I would like to thank everyone at Walden University for their support and professional interactions. The library is awesome and the staff members are great. Thanks again, Dometrives

The only con I have is that there were some courses where it seemed the teachers didn't take into consideration that we as the students also had full time jobs and family life. Most courses were easily obtainable though.

My program of study was a rigorous one and felt as if I was in a "brick and mortar" setting. There was great access to the professors and to my peers. However, it would be great if Walden has a partnership with different agencies such as the CDC and NIH where graduates would be privy to fellowship programs.

Pros: Flexible schedule and you can manage your day from home. This is a great program for work/life balance. Cons: Cost and working alone. If you are not a self-motivated individual, an online degree is not for you.
