"The first semester of classwork has created an environment where students must work in groups and get to know one another. I do not feel like people are competitive, which is nice. However, the group work has been exhausting at times."

"I am very happy at Washington University School of Medicine as a work towards a degree in occupational therapy. The professors are excellent and my classmates are inspirational. "This program is outstanding, incredible, spectacular and i could keep going. The faculty want you to succeed and are there to help whenever needed. Additionally, the faculty wants to make class a conversation and don't get offended when you bring up other points of view. The area is right near the Central West End of St. Louis, which has been rated one of the top ten neighborhoods to live in within the US. The program pushes you out of your comfort zone in order to help you become the best OT. I'm glad this is where i came and i couldn't imagine being anywhere else!"

"Pros: professors are often experts in the field and are very knowledgeable in topic area, school has a very good reputation, great place if you want to get your doctorate, lots and lots of great resources available and at student disposal. St. Louis is a great place to live and very affordable. Classmates are the bomb! Cons: extremely research-based school (not much clinical/hands-on experience) which is unfortunate if you just want your master's degree, very focused on community practice (little/no exposure to hospital/outpatient/inpatient setting). Really large class size. *lots and lots and lots of group work"

"I believe that the Pre-medical Post Baccalaureate Program at Washington University in St. Louis is a great option for students looking to take the pre-requisites for applying to medical school and also find it appealing for those who already have a undergraduate degree in science. It gives you the flexibility to choose your course work and gives you the hands-on laboratory experience that is very much needed when applying to medical school. The program lacks a wide array of classes that you can enrol in, hence you will be enrolled in evening classes and not day classes. You can always take day classes, but it is much more expensive."

"Washington University in St. Louis' interdisciplinary and research based-program give students great opportunities to explore various parts of visual arts. The Art school has great members of faculty and visiting artists as well. If I would have to pick out the cons, it would be the financial aid and the surrounding area. The school provides good amount of scholarship, but the tuition is very expensive at the first place. Also St.Louis is not the safest and transportation-friendly city in the world. But the campus area is very safe."
