"This is a good program and experience, but it is also more expensive because there is no type of financial aid other than student loans. This program has introduced me to a new field and has given me opportunities to be hands on. The education that I am receiving is great, but it is almost impossible to hold a job to pay for expenses because of the heavy work load."

"I am very appreciative to have the opportunity to attend Winthrop Univerisity. I am currently in the Master's program working towards a degree in Counseling and Development: Clinical Mental Health. Although Winthrop's tuition cost are higher than most public universities the quality of the education is worth the hardships that I have trying to paying for it. I thoroughly enjoy the smaller class sizes and the one on one relationships that I have built with my professors and peers. I am confident that this degree program with fully prepare me for my future career as a counselor and I will do all that it takes to make sure my education is fully funded."

"Winthrop University has a wonderful graduate program. The professors are readily accessible to assist with anything that you need help with, there is a great Career Development office that can help students prepare for interviews as well as job-search. It's a very small campus so the MBA program in general feels very tight-knit. Many of the students go through the program together and have many classes together. Winthrop University is a great place to study."

"Winthrop University offers graduate students an excellent opportunity to expand their professional potential. From the beginning, every person I spoke with in the Education Graduate School has been accessible and helpful. The financial aid office has done a great job in advising and answering my questions."

"I believe any graduate program at Winthrop University to be a rigorous degree to obtain. Since it is a smaller school, it isn't as recognized as other large colleges and universities, but it by far competes with schools much larger than Winthrop University. Professors push students to work and study hard, but are always there for them during and outside of class, and will always continue to be as long as the students show continuous effort. The school embraces multi-multiculturalism and social interaction, which are key lessons to the world growing around us in this day and age. I would recommend Winthrop University to any student considering Winthrop as a possible educational choice."

"Although I am only a first year graduate student, it was easy to see that I have found the best graduate school for me. The campus is fairly small which was great coming from Columbia College (SC) which was a small liberal arts school. I also live ion campus, they house graduate students in a building called The Courtyard which automatically sets you up with your own room. They also have washers and dryers in you apartment style dorm which helps saves costs. The campus is very diverse and the campus is decorated with flags from different countries. The faculty is very kind and finds different ways to keep us engaged by using technology any different learning strategies. The only thing that makes Winthrop not a convenient choice for most is the location, Rock Hill is a very small town with not many opportunities but is about thirty minutes from Charlotte. I feel like the quality of education that I am receiving on campus is impeccable and I'm glad I made the right choice."
