Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2019

Arizona State University has an exceptional online program with various graduate degree offerings. From the application process to the enrollment process, you are guided each step of the way. ASU assigns each student a "coach" who is available to answer questions or help you maneuver the d landscape of online learning. The financial aid office is very knowledgeable and helpful. When I asked about a specific grant, they researched it and responded to me quickly. The blackboard platform allows students to keep track of assignments as well as to see financial aid and important messages. Additionally, ASU seeks to connect learners from all over the country using Adobe Connect to collaborate and discuss learning.

Degree: Engineering
Graduation Year: 2019

I am just beginning my graduate program at ASU and so far my transition has been fairly smooth. Each person that I have contacted about admissions or finances has quickly responded and aided me along in this process. The classes for the nanoscience program are all well rounded and collaborative. One of the drawbacks is that some of the classes are only offered periodically. Depending on when the program is began will depend on if a student gets to take certain classes they want to take. That or have to take an extra semester to take those classes. This every other year type offering makes financial planning more difficult because the nanoscience program does not have any funding. All though there may be funding through the physics department. I look forward to expanding my knowledge and learning from a top tier school.

Degree: Nutrition
Graduation Year: 2019

I am only a semester into my graduate program and I already know that the curriculum provided is going to set me up for a successful career. The staff at ASU, specifically in the nutrition department, has over 100 years of experience between them and their focus is always on the student and how to help them learn, grow, and succeed. This large university has a very small-school feel and the attention to my needs as a student is invaluable. Choosing ASU to complete my Master's degree was the best decision I made, and I am confident that my future as a Registered Dietitian will be fruitful and that I will be able to counsel future clients and patients properly because of my education and experience gained as an ASU student.

Degree: Instructional Technology
Graduation Year: 2019

The State of Arizona is notorious for their teacher shortage. ASU's Education program is directly addressing that with many different programs that prepare educators. The mix of courses shows that the program is on the forefront of the field. It is also a very respected school, so your degree will go far not just in Arizona, but all over the US and internationally.

Degree: Biomedical Engineering
Graduation Year: 2018

Graduate life at ASU has been one of the best times for me because it prepared me to be independent, gave me a platform to research and provided ample resources towards achieving my research goals. With a large international population, ASU calls for the most diverse education experience. I got exposed to such high quality facilities and approachable faculty. The open-mindedness with which every colleague and staff works to make your academic experience one of it's kind is commendable. Plenty of opportunities to pursue your passion, friendly campus and affordable living.

Degree: Economics
Graduation Year: 2019

The Global Technology and Development degree program directly affects international relationships and immediately has a global impact. A major part of this discipline deals with fostering a greater competence of cross-cultural and international issues and relating it back to the strategic interests and capabilities of the United States. It allows for creative and complex analysis when facing multifaceted operational challenges of the 21st century. It prepares the frontrunners that lead and function in the management of international relations and better equips them in the ever-so changing and demanding world of globalization and development. Without it, leaders would not be effective in the decisions they make pertaining to international politics, diplomacy, economics, and, of course, their military powers. This program is for students that want to further their research and be able to develop plans and policies to better their connection to the world and those that wish to have a future in organizations like the United Nations, multi-lateral and bi-lateral agencies, Foreign Services, and Sustainable Development Initiatives.

Degree: MBA in Public Administration
Graduation Year: 2019

The best part about this program is the advisor Mark R he is an incredible advisor. Other benefits of this program are that the classes are all geared towards working adults. What this means is that they are night time classes that allow students to continue working full-time.
