Some of the teachers are too busy with research to really apply themselves to teaching students.

I do not feel that the atmosphere at ASU is one where you can feel "at home." The financial aid (at least in the music department) is currently deplorable (due to the governmental proceedings in the prior year). Having said that, the professors are very accessible and always willing to work with you. It is a shame that the other aspects of this school do not rate nearly as high as the faculty and staff.

My Graduate program is particularly interactive which I love. Additionally, faculty brings knowledge and experience to the table that is not only helpful but also very insightful. A con to this program in my opinion is the repetitiveness of the material. However, it is understandable considering some of the information is dry.

I love that the class portion or my graduate program is online. This allowed me to continue living and working where I am. The program was great at connecting me to local schools for my internship! I wish they allowed you to take more classes at once.

The MEng. In Modeling and Simulation is a new and innovative approach to develop a curriculum that encompasses the up and coming service oriented architecture that will be necessary to have many software engineers as architects rather than just programmers. The only cons are the expenses of tuition as ASU is charging credits in the realm of Stanford and Purdue online, however has yet to gain the same credibility. The new focus on engineering is coming up strong and I believe that the quality of education is on par with the best Universities. Hopefully employers will come to realize ASU as a top recruiting school of future engineers.

ASU has a great reputation; especially the W.P. Carey School of Business. I am glad and proud to have attended such a highly recognized school within such a well-known university.

ASU was a great school with great networking opportunities. The large size can make it more difficult in some cases/classes but overall I am very happy I attended.

This was for the evening program and did not feel as comprehensive as the full time program may have been.
