Degree: Nursing
Graduation Year: 2020

I am currently enrolled in Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania's Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist program and begin in the Fall of 2017. I am very excited and eager to begin this chapter in my life. So far all of my interactions with everyone in the program from the secretary to the Director of the program, they have been nothing but helpful and eager to help you succeed. The interview process was vigorous but well worth it when I received my acceptance letter. I am excited and proud to be a Bloomsburg Huskie during my Master's Degree! If you are contemplating applying, just do it! you will not regret it!

The CRNA program at Bloomsburg University is a fantastic graduate program for nurses looking to further their education in anesthesia. The instructors are fantastic and really want you to succeed. The program secretary is extremely helpful and goes above and beyond to ensure that you have what it is that you are looking for and need! It is a small class and the program is three years which really helps prepare you to be an independent practitioner. I am excited to continue my journey in nursing with this program! It was a lot of hard work to get to the position that I am in now, but never give up on your dreams!

You start your clinical training the first day of the program. This experience is simply unmatched. I love being able to assist patients and use the knowledge learned from the academic coursework. The professors are wonderful as they understand what it is like to be in our shoes. They go out of their way to make sure you understand the material.

Bloomsburg offers and excellent Speech Therapy program. It is in the middle of nowhere but there are actually benefits to that.

Degree: School Counseling
Graduation Year: 2016

Being in class and networking with other school counseling students is a huge benefit of the program. I am able to discuss situations that I am currently experiencing and collaborate with others. This also allows me to build relationships with my professors. However, a con of the program is the transition to a more online degree. This hinders learning and does not allow for professional relationships with other students and teachers to be as strong. I have had a great internship experience through this program. The schools in the surrounding areas have great school counseling programs that have model examples of effective school counsellors.

The entire program was amazing. From the field experiences, to the constant opportunities, to the incredible people I met, this program had me constantly wanting more. I love this school, this program, and the career path I chose.
