Degree: Mathematics
Graduation Year: 2013

Brown's math department is relatively small (~40 students) and there is a lot of interaction with other grad students, faculty, staff and postdocs. One thing that makes Brown different from other math graduate programs is that we don't have qualifying exams: You just have to take and pass (or test out of) 11 courses, and give a talk on an advanced paper.

It's a fantastic department in an amazing campus. Professors are available and friendly, any kind of support to grad students is offered. I'm really happy here.

The courses are challenging and the workload is pretty heavy, and that's how the Econ department at Brown prepares her grad students for their future career. The faculty and staff are very friendly and approachable. They provide with the students with all kinds of information they need.

This program is great! It's small and personalized. It encourages its students' to get the most out of the program to to pursue their educational and professional goals. The campus is vivacious and beautiful. The faculty is easily accessible, very supportive and helpful, and well connected.

The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University is an excellent place to receive an M.D. I am confident that after 4 years here, I will be able to match into the residency of my choice. The faculty here are supportive and knowledgeable and there are plenty of opportunities for research or working on independent projects.

Degree: Engineering
Graduation Year: 2013

I really wish I could have received more financial aid from Brown, but I am more than confident that the advanced degree I am earning will more than pay for itself in a very short amount of time, so I can't complain to much. I think that my program at Brown is very unique and I would not want to be anywhere else. I am very pleased with the value of the education, as well as the quality of the teaching, professor interaction, and the material being covered.

For a master candidate like me, it is not such a good program. But for PhD program, it is not bad with nice staff and faculty.
