Really like the convenience of online classes and consistency of workload from class to class. Wish there were other types of assignments instead of writing for each one.

I left ABD. Am returning 12 years later to obtain my PhD. Did receive an MS before leaving. I feel that the school is responsive to learners, and provides a quality education which is applicable to actual life situations.

Many of the lower marks are because there is no N/A option. As an online student, campus security, surrounding area, etc. are not factors. Being a for-profit university, Capella sure knows how to drag the program along!

The pros of the online graduate program were that the online class website was user friendly and their student library was resourceful. I was able to complete of all of my assignments in a timely manner. The counselors were able to guide me to understand how on how to use the website and the financial aide department was readily able to assist me. The curriculum was easy to understand and as a student you new what was expected in every coarse. I received a 3.8 GPA due to all of my hard work and the great organization of the program. The cons of the online program were that if they could offer more classes that geared toward certifications that are applicable to specific states. I would take the coarse again.

Degree: Human Services
Graduation Year: 2014

The Human Behavior graduate program at Capella University was not a hard program to take; I was able to take on-line courses while working full time. The courses give you enough flexibility that you can set your own schedule. At times I didn't feel challenged enough.

I think it's a great program, affordable, and it is also accredited by the BACB which is a necessity to me. Beyond that, the pros and cons are what you get with any online program. It is flexible and allows me to live my life and work full time while going to school. The downside is that there is no face-to-face time (thankfully I am working in the field of my degree and am gaining experience that way).

Pros: As an adult learner interested in a CACREP approved online school, Capella seemed the best choice to meet my needs. Cons: tuition increased every year.

I feel the University online gives me the freedom to work at my own pace and still maintain my job as an RN. You meet people from all different places online in your classrooms and it brings different perspectives to your learning experience. I am very excited about school and what it will bring into my life.
