Degree: Education Administration
Graduation Year: 2019

Capella University interested me because they have a community college concentration in the Higher Ed Admin program. So far the program has been challenging, but it has helped me grow in my career. The online platform is excellent. The instructors do a great job of interacting with their students. It has been great to work with classmates from all over the country and that are coming from diverse backgrounds.

Great online school. A lot of flexibility. Teachers are very engaging and knowledgeable, and helpful. A lot of online learning support through supplemental instruction that helps understand and digest material. Additional tutoring is also available.

Degree: MBA in Human Resources
Graduation Year: 2018

My degree program is an MBA with a concentration in human resources. From the moment I emailed my interest in Capella University, the admissions counselor, my FlexPath coach, and my instructors made returning to college an extremely wonderful experience. My first contact was with my admissions counselor who helped me choose my MBA concentration based on the qualities and outcome that was most important to me. My instructors have been very knowledgeable and work with students not only to learn the curriculum of the course but also to help students get the most out of each course.

Degree: Marriage & Family Therapy
Graduation Year: 2017

Previously I started a Master's in MFT at a traditional university and left feeling like the program was not up to the expectations I had set. Completing my Master's degree at Capella University in MFT allowed me to graduate from a dual-accredited program while having the flexibility of an online schedule. I feel thoroughly prepared for the licensure process and am even beginning my doctorate studies at this school. Online does not mean the easy route, as Capella challenged me in learning and growing as a practitioner in a way that my previous institution did not do. It more than exceeded my expectations for what my Master's degree should be!

Degree: School Counseling
Graduation Year: 2019

Capella has been a positive experience for me. Although pursuing a master's degree is time consuming, the instructors at Capella are extremely helpful. Some instructors provide templates for lengthy papers to help keep you organized, which is extremely useful. The entire administrative staff is very responsive, I never had a problem getting in touch with anyone in their offices. I have had nothing but good experiences with Capella so far!

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2018

Although many believe that the instruction that one gains from an online platform is sub-par, it cannot be farther from the truth. Capella University is a nationally accredited university with CACREP, which means the instruction given has to meet a certain standard level. The courses can be difficult but the knowledge gained is worth the effort. The professors are there to assist you when needed and I have never had to wait for a response from any of my professors, the guidance is invaluable. I recommend this school, however with the ease of schedule for an online platform, one most be dedicated to their work.

Degree: Information Technology
Graduation Year: 2017

Instructors are currently working in the field in which they are teaching so coaching is relevance to current practices. Some are very rigorous with grading, while others are flexible. I appreciate that no classes require group work, so I have been able to focus on my own effort, and not others'.

Degree: Public Administration
Graduation Year: 2016

Capella University has an exceptional atmosphere for learning and challenging students engage one another on topics of the day. Specifically, Capella University uses real-world cases that challenge students to ask tough questions and dig in to the details as to why something happened and examine cause and relationship factors. Most importantly Capella University offers doctoral learners good tools by which to conduct research across a variety of subject areas all the while providing mentorship to keep students focused and on track. Great school!; great place to study and advance one's education!

So far, I have had a great experience with Capella University, starting from the help of my adviser, who was always in touch with me through out the application process, and updated me with any new information; help me through my financial aid process as well. When I started my class, the instructor was wonderful and made me feel comfortable through personal emails, course emails. Online portal is user friendly, and easy to navigate. Overall, it's been a great experience for me
