This school has been excellent at preparing me for my future career. I have been to interviews for my practicum cite and I am as competitive as those who go to a brick and mortar school. The staff is always helpful in every aspect of my education.

The pros are the rich academic and career learning experiences Capella University provides. The cons are the periods of time my studies take away from my family time.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2013

The pros of the graduate program was each instructor was knowledgeable in the subject area in which they taught and helped their students understand the material that was being learned within the online courseroom. The program allowed for open communication between each student and the instructors along with being able to put into practice what was learned in the courseroom during Residencies.

This program is more interactive than the other online schools I have attended. They require interaction with your fellow students an want to ensure that you are able to connect with your teacher and other Capella staff. This school has a weekly course load they expect you to keep up with so this isn't a good school for procrastinators. Your teacher is always there for feedback and questions and is very timely in their responses.

Degree: Higher Education
Graduation Year: 2016

I am thrilled with the opportunity to complete my education online. Capella University offers a competitive online program in Leadership and Administration in Higher Education. Generally, the faculty is superb; only experienced one who was non-existent within the course. There is little career assistance. Most students are gainfully employed at an educational institution. Would be nice to have some career assistance, especially if future grads plan on moving to another state. All in all I am very pleased with Capella and my experiences.

Graduation Year: 2014

As a Capella University Grad student, I have been happy with my education thus far. I am due to graduate in 2014 and it has been a long road. I think the financial aide and academic advising areas of the school are extremely helpful. I believe the work load can be a bit much in one week's time. It is suppose to be designed for the working person. I know for myself it is difficult to sit and answer three discussion question in one week and finish a five to six page paper by Sunday of a particular week. I think overall this has been a good decision on my part to continue my education.
