Some of the pros of my graduate program are as follows: The school has a program dedicated to international psychology. The student population is diverse. The school upgraded their student portal and presently makes great use of technology. The professors and staff are professional and easily accessible. Some of the cons are: Prior to the student portal upgrade the old student portal left a lot to be desired. Tuition and costs are a bit higher than many other schools. Some of the professors assign a lot of reading. It sometimes seems excessive.

Pro's are great stuff and a tremendous amount of support and information. For an online program you are never alone. There are free editors, tutors, round the clock support in all areas. The program is rigorous. They offer study abroad in many countries. Cons: I wish they had a few more elective options.

I really enjoyed the academic quality and flexibility of the online program. On the other hand, I would have preferred the use of updated technology and a little more flexibility with course options.

The Chicago School of Professional Psychology is a really good graduate program that I highly recommend for working professionals or those who have other responsibilities that do not allow them to go to campus full time. I was apprehensive about an online school at first. My undergraduate degree was at a traditional State University in California. After I graduated, I realized I needed more than an bachelor's degree in psychology if I wanted to earn more money. However, I was currently working as a Social Worker and there was now way I could just up and quit my job to go back to school. I researched and found TCSPP and applied. The process is lengthy, but similar to applying to any graduate program you will have to write an essay, furnish letters of recommendation, and write an essay (depending on the program). My adviser was wonderful and in constant contact be email. Once I was accepted, the experience was very similar to my undergraduate school. Purchase books prior to the start of the semester, you have the benefit of knowing ahead of time when the assignments are due and go at your pace to complete them. In my experience the teachers have been accessible and do webinars and GoTo meetings to provide extra support. The classes are accelerated since they are online so they are rigorous. But these are Masters and Doctorate level degrees and courses so I do not understand why people complain about the difficulty. I read a lot of bad reviews about TCSPP but my experience has been nothing but positive. I am in one year in and in another year I will have my Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis.

This school is great. I have learned so much so far off the first couple classes. The coursework will definitely help me in my career field of psychology. The Chicago School is highly recommended.

With my particular program being online, it gives me the freedom of working full time at a day treatment program. I able to apply the skills I have been taught in my everyday work place. The only true con of this program is, because everything is visual, it can be difficult to understand fully when something is said (typed). Because I am unable to simply raise my hand and ask a question, we have to rely on emailing our professors.

Pros: Great staff, excellent program, wonderful experience. Online classes are challenging yet convenient. Cons: Some academic counselor (only one in particular) was difficult to contact. The assistant, on the other hand, was very helpful.
