I very much enjoy the fact that I can do schoolwork when it is convenient for me. I work full - time and have a family, needless to say I am a very busy woman. When I could not attend live chats at the scheduled time, they are archived so that I can view them later. I received good feedback from the professors. If I had an issue with an assignment they responded in a timely manner and I would ask my peers as well. I loved the fact that they gave us our assignments in the task list, that way we could either start early on the assignments or get ahead on the reading material.

I am impressed with my graduate experience at Colorado Technical University (CTU). I have also attended other schools but none compare to CTU. The professors are knowledgeable, available, and very helpful. The enrollment staff make me feel like I am the only student they are helping and are very welcoming. My fellow students are from all walks of life. I have met classmates and other students in every part of the world in a variety of industries and professions. If I can improve one thing about the program, it would be to implement a professor-controlled student-talk option on the Live Chat class sessions. I am glad to be attending CTU and am looking forward to graduating next fall.

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2015

The education level at Colorado Technical University is wonderful. I have had some professors that go out of their way to get you to understand and incorporate what you have learned in your daily activities. I just wish the career services could help out with the student more by having an online student internship program as they have for their brick and mortar students. In addition, Colorado Technical University is very expensive, once your student loans have been applied to your studies, you still up with out of pocket expense that's keep going. There should be a change on that end.

Degree: Information Technology
Graduation Year: 2016

Overall, Colorado Technical University - Online provides a great graduate experience thru the utilization of technology. The instructors are professional and very knowledgeable in their areas of expertise. I feel like the workload for each course is adequate for a graduate level course. Also, working on my graduate degree from CTU - Online, I am in a better position to move upward in my IT career with the reputation CTU has earned over the years. The only con is the fact that it is a total online environment so you miss out on the face-to-face relationships.

Degree: Human Resources
Graduation Year: 2017

After searching and waiting for an online school to offer a Doctorate Program in HR instead of just settling for what was available, CTU made it possible to earn a doctorate degree in the area of Human Resources. This is definitely a pro. Albeit has taken almost two years to enter into a program, I am very well pleased with what has transpired thus far. As a con - since this is a new program, there is nothing to compare it to in regards to successful launch and readiness for the job market. Regardless, I am determined and have enjoyed working in the HR field and look forward to expounding in the area of Change and Organizational Development.

The things that I feel are the pros is the education material, and the online support, with easy navigation. The cons I feel are not enough scholarships to offer students that are holding a great G.P.A and need of assistance.

Degree: Project Management
Graduation Year: 2015

The pros of the program meet the criteria and expectations of today's demanding project management requirements. Project management positions are becoming more and more demanding in order to provide organizations with the ability to remain competitive in today's industry. The cons are this program may not be affordable for students to attend because the tuition is relatively expensive and could cause a hardship to those who choose to take out student loans in order to pay for the expenses.
