Lehman College is an excellent place to be. The Master of Social Work Faculty and staff especially are supportive, dedicated and committed to impacting knowledge to students who come to the school. courses and classes are very structured, and there are flexible class schedules to suit everyone's needs. students are prepared adequately for the job market even before completing school. I have truly enjoyed my academic experience at Lehman College and would recommend it to everyone who wishes to apply to college.

Degree: Communications (Speech Pathology)
Graduation Year: 2017

Lehman's speech-language pathology program is great. The supervisors care about the students, the students receive lots of experience, and the program will lead to a great career. However, there is a lot of work, and the students can get really stressed. It is difficult to learn what to do with different clients.

Degree: Communications (Speech Pathology)
Graduation Year: 2017

The program encourages support and exchange of information between members of the cohort. The faculty is extremely knowledgeable and accessible. Each student is assigned an advisor, which is extremely helpful, and makes it easy to get answers to any questions.

Degree: Communications (Speech Pathology)
Graduation Year: 2020

The grad program offered at Lehman College is very convenient for me being that I work in Riverdale and live in the Bronx. The staff at Lehman have been very helpful do far, however the cost of my program and the pre-requites are difficult for me to handle.

Degree: Social Work
Graduation Year: 2017

The pros of my program are for one, it is small so professor to student attention is very high. Everybody knows everyone by name and come from a variety of backgrounds. Also, being that it is a CUNY school, it is priced less that a private school, which takes away a little burden from loan repayment. Furthermore, it offers a variety of field placement opportunities to really learn your skills. The only con is the location, the school is located in the Bronx and is an hour from my home.
