So far it's great, there has been one teacher that wasn't particularly effective, but the other ones come with a lot of real world experience and have been very helpful. The campus is great, and they offer a decent amount of businesses classes downtown.

I like that I actually feel cared about at Davenport. My adviser, who actually just recently left the company unfortunately, really cared about the students, and worked long hours to make sure they were comfortable and got the help they needed. I've taken 4 classes thus far in the graduates program. 3 of the teachers I've really liked, one of the teachers was a bit lacking, but not a bad teacher by any means. I don't think I got too much out of the class though sadly, and they may need to reevaluate some of their staff. They have just about all classes at night which works the best for people like me with a 9-5.

Online education has been wonderful. The professors want to help you and your advisory is always there when you need assistance. The MBA program is expensive and that is a con.

Grad school is a lot different then what I had anticipated. While the work itself is very insightful the teachers don't seem to be as involved as undergrad programs. This is the biggest con to the program. The dedication level has dropped tremendously and yet the work load has increased. It feels like I am completely teaching myself and just maintaining what I have learned in the past instead of expanding my knowledge. This hasn't been the case with every class but the last two I have taken have been disappointing.

The pros of the MSIA program were the workload and thesis support. There were also two certifications included within the program. The cons were that there was inconsistency in the quality of work required by each instructor and there was no internship.

The program offers a diverse dialogue and allows student to engage with fellow students on and off campus.

I am in love with Davenport. I take online classes and am currently living in Africa getting another Masters Degree. It started out just as a way to get finical aid but with support of some amazing teachers and advisor I have really blossomed and done better than I ever thought I would excelling into a GPA of 3.7. The only thing that is bad about this school is if you are not prepared its a heavy work load! However, like I said online classes or not I have gotten so much support!

Since I take courses online, I have limited knowledge about the affordability of living on campus or any related social life in the area.

The graduate program at Davenport offers assistance in career planning and placement after graduation.
