Duke is a great place to go to graduate school. The multiple neuroscience programs have recently formed a consortium so that it is a larger, more collaborative community, with bigger and better social events. Durham is also a growing city that is becoming increasingly student-friendly and fun, with a lot of up and coming restaurants and bars.

The academic environment and quality of education is superb. Durham is a wonderful, unique town with lots to do.

Duke is academically outstanding and the campus is beautiful. The city of Durham is coming back to life after suffering an economic crisis with the loss of its tobacco industry, so despite the re-developments there can still be issues of safety in some parts of town.

a little conservative here. The science field is not as new as some other universities or institutes.

One of the best schools academic-wise. However needs some improvements in on-campus resources(dining and housing options are limited)
