Degree: Public Health
Graduation Year: 2016

The first pro of the online MPH Epidemiology program is definitely the flexibility to earn an MPH while completing other activities or taking care of other obligations. The ease of contact with the faculty and staff is also a pro. There aren't any significant cons that I can note just yet.

Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2015

My experience with East Tennessee State University has been nothing but enjoyable. Since I am currently enrolled in an online program, some of the above mentioned aspects of the university do not apply to me, therefore they received low ratings. I particularly enjoy the online classes I am taking, and the difficulty and workload is heavy but extremely effective. The Educational Leadership program at ETSU will prepare me for my future goal, which is to be in administration in higher education, and I could not be happier with the results I have seen so far. All of the professors and advisers have been helpful and encouraging, and they are a major reason for my success in this program. I would highly recommend ETSU to anybody looking to take educational courses in the future. GO BUCS!

Degree: Environmental Science
Graduation Year: 2014

The Environmental Health graduate program falls under the college of Public Health, yet commonly gets left out of the mix when events are planned. The program is small, with few graduate students and only enough professors to stay accredited. This causes some limitations on the diversity of experience in the faculty. The college of Public Health, however, is exemplary. It has a great range of faculty, events outside of the classroom, opportunities for networking, and career assistance.

Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2016

The pros of the graduate program is that it is online. The con would be that it cost more than seated courses and there are no scholarships for graduate online students. It seems like they are penalizing online students.

Degree: MBA
Graduation Year: 2015

I enjoy the smaller class sizes and professors that are very open and accessible throughout the semester. I enjoy working with and being around my classmates, and look forward to attending class with them each week. I do feel that the program could be a little more engaging. My experience thus far has involved quite a bit of lecture and little student engagement during class. I also believe that ETSU could make the content of the classes a little more difficult so that students will be more competitive and prepared for real-world situations. Overall, I have enjoyed my time at ETSU so far and feel that I am making a great choice for my future by completing this degree.

Degree: Communications (Speech Pathology)
Graduation Year: 2015

ETSU's Speech Language Pathology Masters Program is a very intense program, but it provides its students with a broad range of clinical experiences. The professors, advisers, and clinic supervisors are very knowledgeable about the field and act as an amazing support system. I have really enjoyed my time in this program!

Degree: Pharmacy
Graduation Year: 2015

This program I am currently in is beyond amazing. The professors are very well educated and provide us with the best education. We are small school with only two big lecture halls, but it makes the entire school like a close-knit family. Everyone knows everyone and we try to help and support each other while we are all working towards a common goal.

Degree: Higher Education
Graduation Year: 2014

I really enjoyed the program of counseling at ETSU. However, I do wish the entirety of the program was available in class. Half of the courses I had to take were only available online, which I have a hard time learning with. Other than that I would fully recommend the program!

Degree: Communications (Speech Pathology)
Graduation Year: 2016

The instructors are very helpful. On the other side, it is sometimes difficult getting communication from instructors with the online courses. The instructors like to know that you understand the material and always ask for questions.
