Degree: Pharmacy

Ferris State College of Pharmacy is a wonderful choice for students who want to practice pharmacy. The staff is very friendly and caring towards their students. The curriculum is tough, but Ferris State always scores very high on the NAPLEX exam (better than Michigan and Wayne State). There is not much to do in surrounding town.

The great thing about this graduate program is that I can still work full time and take classes. Most of the classwork is online and due at the end of the week. A con is that I will not be interacting with many students as it's all online.

Degree: MBA
Graduation Year: 2015

The online MBA program offered by Ferris State University provides a great opportunity for working professionals to complete the program without a sabbatical from work. The only downfall is the lack of financial aide offered by the university.

I go to a satellite branch of Ferris State University in Traverse City, MI. My rankings count for this branch and not main campus. FSU, especially at the TC Branch, makes an effort to work with students who are non-traditional and are employed outside of their education. They relate everything to the real world and do a fantastic job of preparing students for future employment.

The pro's of the program are that the staff wants the students to succeed. They know that our dollars pay their salary and therefore they need to work equally hard to make sure all students in the PharmD program get the fullest out of their education. Cons are very seldom if any that I can think of. It is a very strong community and very strong program.

They work with you and help find the best route. It's the cheapest in the area, so just expect that and you get what you pay for. Good classes.

Other - Optometry. Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University is the only optometry school in the state and has a phenomenal reputation. The facilities and the available technology is state of the art and unparalleled. The faculty to student ratio is 1:2, which is incredible in such an intense program. It's very competitive yet the environment is conducive to teamwork and support. Now in my 4th semester of a 10 semester graduate program, I am completely satisfied in my experience at MCO and would encourage any student in the Midwest and beyond to come visit the school of they have an interest in optometry or healthcare in general.

I'm just beginning this program, but I have found the program administrators to be very helpful and accessible.

Quality MBA program for the price. Love the adult MBA online program structure.
