I do not have sufficient money and resources to conduct my research on Instructional Leadership.

After attending a more progressive online college before, the learning management system could be more technologically advanced, but the academic support, network and class richness is more than what I expected. Teachers are very engaged and encourage students to explore real life experience and connect academics to future passions and career choices. Overall Grand Canyon University is a great place to learn and pursue your graduate studies.

Degree: Organizational Leadership

I have been fortunate to attend GCU online. My Academic advisers, faculty member, and instructors have been helpful, thorough in explanations, easy to reach, and very professional. The best part of the experience so far has been the week long residency where the focus was my dissertation. The time with staff and my fellow students was priceless. I am looking forward to next year!

Degree: Early Childhood Education
Graduation Year: 2015

The Pro's of this graduate program is that is has practical teaching methods and assignments embedded into it's coursework and has a rigorous practicum expectation that truly allows the teacher candidate to be prepared for the classroom when they have graduated. The Con's about the program would probably be the financing aspect, grad courses are more expensive inherently and so it is a serious investment into your career, but a worthy investment!

I em enjoying my program. I am self motivated to work independently online, and have many opportunities to blog and converse with people online. I do sometimes wish to clarify assignments and discussions face to face. Overall I enjoy me experience and am very proud of myself for my diligence.

Degree: Nursing
Graduation Year: 2015

This is my second degree I have pursued at GCU. I really like their new online learning environment. It is very user-friendly and provides you with most of the information you need on one single "home" page. The instructors have been supportive and the student counselors are very attentive and helpful. This program provided me a way to pursue my Masters Degree in Nursing Education while working full time and being the single mom for a very active two year old!

I feel the pros of my program is that I am learning more about the justice system. I believe that by the end of my program I will be filled with useful knowledge and be able to enjoy the career I would like to have.

Grand Canyon University has a positive environment about them academically and socially. It is a christian school that has values that keep each student moving forward in a positive aspect. The environment makes the student believe that no matter what happens in life we can always prevail with hard work, dedication, and faith. Faith in moving forward with an education that will take you many places is what helps me get through my day and weeks in class. I have had many obstancles while in class from changing jobs, child sick, death in the family, changes in family situations, and instead of not being given chances to prove I am a worthy student my professor kept me in their prayers. That is the type of school I love, one where the faculty will help you in all aspects including spiritually. My spirituality has diminished in the past years and I did not know what to do I felt lost even though I always knew where I was going. When I started going to Grand Canyon University I felt the loving atmospher and the support that graduate students will need and seldomly find because many programs feel that once you graduated from the undergraduate program that you don't need that support anymore when that is not the case. We as graduates have more obstacles because we have to find solutions while having a family and full time jobs and with GCU, they offer the support I need to keep going with life and school and give me the spiritual guidence and support I was thirsty for.
