Grand Canyon University is a godsend for me. I am a substitute teacher in my school district and needed a graduate program which would allow me to continue working. The online program at GCU has made this possible. So far the instructors have been wonderful. GCU also has a great online system which makes it easy to communicate with the online community. The main deficiency of GCU Online, which is true of any online school, is the inability to have face to face meetings with instructors and peers. I do believe GCU will give me the skills I need to become a true scholar in my educational field. I am truly happy to have made the decision to further my education at GCU.

Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2015

My program is Psychology with an emphasis in Industry and Organization. The pros is that it is specialized in comparison to my bachelors degree. I would be able to get pay increases with a Masters and a better job. The focus of this degree is to observe various companies work environment and productivity and make it a positive and prosperous company. The con is that it is time consuming to take the program.

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2015

Being an online student, I cannot score the school in some areas of the survey. I do feel Grand Canyon has been a great choice for me as I work full time, manage a design business part-time, and dance competitively throughout North America. One of the best attributes about this program is their emphasis on flexibility and working with busy graduate students. Being in an online environment, it can be difficult to build solid relationships with the professors. I am one to be at office hours every chance I get at a traditional school. With the courses being online, speaking to professors is more difficult. Overall a great school and a great choice for working professionals.

A pro would be the program is geared to start working immediately before graduation. A con is some of the online classes are very hard to understand. And if you disagree with a grade because of this they do not work with you. All and all GCU is a good school. They are affordable, and they are christian based.

The staff and faculty have been extremely helpful and available when I have needed them. The workload is rough, but assignments relate to the subject well and provide educational value. This is a growing school who is establishing themselves as a quality educational institution.

It is a decent program with room to grow. Some classes and instructors are great, others could go.

Grand Canyon University is a great place to attend online, as well as attending the traditional campus. I appreciate the value and the quality of the degree I am pursuing. Grand Canyon University rocks!

The pros is that you get help from a lot of people and the professors I have had so far are one of the greatest.

I like the graduate program and the faculties are very helpful and supportive, but the workload is a lot and lots of homework, papers and research, however, it is a graduate program so I do expect to work a little harder.

Provides great flexibility. Until you learn to manage working fulltime and school, you tend to feel like the work is never ending. But all in all a great program
