Degree: Business Administration

I've been practicing law for 20 years and am currently part of the executive of a public agency. I checked out a number of online Masters programs and then decided on LU to develop my executive leadership skills. The eight week classes are more rigorous than I expected. They do a great job of blending Christian worldview with the academics. I highly recommend LU online if you are serious about learning and want to start and finish your program. They do indeed focus on making Champions for Christ.... Read More

I was very pleased with the instructors and the learning material. The courses were thorough and challenging. The few times that I have needed to contact the advising department, they were courteous and responsive. I have heard that many people have had issues with the financial aid department, but I have not had the same issues.

I have had a great experience with LU. The eight week courses are great for anyone with a regular working schedule. It allows you to manage your work life and school life. I highly recommend Liberty University. The communication with the professors is excellent, and the online learning experience is great.

The college is as good as any other college out there. Some of the professors are great and some are horrible. The worst professors you will encounter are in your undergraduate classes. This information is strictly for accountancy graduates and possibly other disciplines if applicable. I wanted to get my degree in accountancy because there are thousands of accountancy positions available through the job boards. My story is that I was transitioning from a completely different professional field of... Read More

I like this school. I originally wanted to do my undergraduate here but wasn't able to attend because my Mother thought it was too far away from home. As an online graduate student I believe whether the professors attend to me or not I am going to succeed with this degree. My program only offered 30 credits, but I need 48 to get my Chemical Dependency License in the state of Texas. This was a bit of a set back because I did not want to attend classes anymore, however, as a military wife I was able... Read More

I requested more information on this school, so they gave me a call. Tgis was fine but they kept trying to force me to apply before I got any information/credibility of the school! So I just told myself that there was no way I would go here! I finally found a school just right for me, Christian university (obviously not liberty) and they gave me all the information that I could ask for. But this school harasses me, they call me a minimum of 5 times a day, most of the time more! They wont leave me... Read More

I love Liberty University it is the second University I have attended. The staff is caring and helpful. This school has been a blessing from God for me. I have faced some challenges while attending but, with the guidance of God I was able to succeed and I am thankful there are University that enable people that don't have a lot of money afford a good education. Thank you Liberty I would recommend this University to anyone that is trying to further their education.

I have to say that for me this school was a great experience especially as a veteran. I found the program to be fairly rigorous. Online schooling is what you put into it. As a veteran, they are top notch. The tuition is literally cut in half for vets being about $250 per credit hour for graduate level courses. Those prices are cheaper than any for profit or non profit school that I know of. The main thing to remember with online schooling is that if you turn in your work on time, that's half the... So, I tried to go here, before transferring out because this place is incredibly judgmental, and horrible for military students. This is the application process for transfer students 1) Apply 2) Sign up for classes 3) find out if you're accepted 4)pay. Here's how it is at other colleges 1)Apply 2. them analyze your credits, see what you need to do 4) Sign up for credits 5) Pay I applied, and was told I had to sign up for classes to finish the application process. I told them I think I should wait,... Read More

Any college is what you make of it. If you like sitting in a class room and interacting with others in person, then online isn't for you. Taking classes online means that you have to be self starting and self motivated. I had a great experience with Liberty (aside from one or two professors that graded unnecessarily hard) and I passed my competencies and licensure exams on the first try. I was well prepared for both because I worked hard and took from my education what I needed to be successful.... Read More

Liberty University Online will say anything to get you into their program. Anything. I was enrolling to get a certification to teach, which they can do. The problem is that they cannot do it for all subject areas and will lie about their ability at application and enrollment time. I really would have expected this kind of bait and switch sort of behavior from a for-profit "university" and not from a "Christian" university. The classes themselves were fine. If they meet your needs, great. Just make... Read More

Expensive, overpopulated and worthless degree. They brag about being the 'biggest Christian university' but what does that mean when there are THOUSANDS of new graduates every semester that haven't been prepared at all. If you pay your money you will pass. All courses are recycled year after year and the professors generally don't know the subject material. Professors don't interact with your work. All communication is pre-written and sent out based on the schedule, very minimal "actual" engagement... Read More

Run away from this so called Christian school. This university wants your money. I requested a specific professor and was put into the class. The next day Liberty kept calling my telephone saying that I needed to complete the course requirement checklist. Therefore, I logged in and completed it. Then, I noticed another professor name on my assignments. I called the school and the advisors said that there is nothing that they can do for me because I have already completed the checklist. Liberty's... Read More

I HAVE BEEN AT LIBERTY FOT AT LEAST 3 YEARS NOW. I AM IN THE MASTERS PROGRAM. I STAYED IN THIS SCHOOL BECAUSE I HATE CHANGE BUT IM FINDING OUT THAT LIBERTY IS ALL ABOUT MONEY THEY DO NOT CARE. THE ADVISORS ARE TEENAGE COLLEGE KIDS WHO HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT MEANS TO WORK. SO ASKING FOR ADVISE IS USELESS THEY WILL REEFER YOU TO YOUR PROFESSOR WHO WILL NOT GET BACK TO YOU UNTIL YOU ACTUALLY DON'T NEED THEM ANYMORE

I attended Liberty from 2009-2012 for Finance. I'm one class from a BS in Finance. I had a business professor named Scott Hicks who failed me multiple times even though the work was completed. Hicks is a lowlife scumbag. If he doesn't like you, he will fail you, even with the work completed. I have not paid Liberty, and will never pay Liberty the tuition owed due to the fact this piece of trash still works there. I am having to start my degree over at a different school. Quality of education to me was subpar. Teachers generally were unfamiliar with online technology. Syllabi were recycled year to year. A handful of professors cared greatly. Majority appeared over-worked and apathetic. They have a habit of assigning non-Christian topics and asking us to write about the Christian-ness of that topic, which was very awkward.

Let me start by saying this school is perfect for full time college students or full time mid level job holders. I found the online program to be a lot of work which is a good thing but what I found discouraging was the lack of professors involvement. When I had questions or concerns I would e-mail each professor only to get either a response after the assignment deadline or no response at all. Liberty University Online was great. I chose to go to Liberty while taking time off from work to deal with a health issue. The online classes gave me the opportunity to progress with limited physical capabilities at the time. This was the 3rd university that I attended and the first that focused in on teaching you how to think instead of only giving you facts. Regardless of the field of study, our worldview shapes how we receive and understand information. Liberty's encouragement to evaluate and... Read More

I just started at Liberty and I must say I Hate this University. The people their do not take the time to help new students. All they do is give students the run around. The advisors tell you one thing and the instructors tell you something different. Please do not attend to school, I wish I had stayed at Ashford university.

Liberty University introduces a professional graduate degree program that requires you to work diligently, interact with other students and your professors in this online format. Sure you may have a professor who is balancing their private practice and is teaching 4 courses but as a graduate student you are expected... Read More
