Degree: Christian Counseling
Graduation Year: 2011

As an online student I appreciate how easy the online component is to navigate and the quality of instruction. I have never felt like I was a lesser student because I was online. The professors are thorough with their feedback and always prompt when responding to emails or discussion board questions. For one of my classes I did have to be on campus for a week and that was a wonderful experience. The campus is beautiful with a lot of amenities for students to enjoy. The buildings are not dated and the grounds are kept neat and clean. There are buses that take the students all over campus making transportation easy for students. I would recommend Liberty for either program, online or on campus because the quality of learning is high and the staff associated with this campus are interested in student success.

I do not feel prepared for my career field. My education was often based upon the extent of my inclusion of Bible verses versus the quality of my understanding of the actual educational material. It is a Christian school but often focuses too largely on inclusion of the Bible over the quality of education.

Liberty University is a great college! They have worked with me during deployment as well as other circumstances that have come up due to my military obligations. All the courses I have taken so far have been very challenging / interactive and have opened my eyes to the views other people have.

Liberty is a wonderful school that made me feel as if they had my best interest in mind. I almost never experienced any issues, and any that did appear were dealt with swiftly and efficiently. The campus is gorgeous, with an all year round ski course and Hibachi. However, their bread and butter is the online courses with are plentiful and easy to use. I absolutely loved this school.

Degree: Christian Counseling
Graduation Year: 2019

As a mom of 3 with a full-time job, a home, and all the responsibilities that come with being a wife, parent and adult in general, the idea of earning my master's degree seemed very daunting. After speaking with a friend, who also attended Liberty, I decided to apply. The application was extremely easy and the advisers got in touch with me quickly. Within a week, I had my degree plan and was filling out my FAFSA for school. Because the university has a large online program, their online resources like the library, email, blackboard and the registration site are all very simple to navigate. What I was most surprised with, and pleasantly I might add, was how much feedback I receive from the instructors. The papers I submit are always full of notes, pointing out both the good and the areas I require further explanation. They respond quickly to emails and discussion board posts and they pray for their students. So far, my time as a student at Liberty has been very positive and I recommend Liberty University to anyone looking to further their education in an online environment.
