Degree: Religious Studies
Graduation Year: 2014

The University is organized, beautiful and overly friendly. The faculty cares about each student and often sends gifts, postcards and "check-up" calls to the online students. More importantly, Liberty is able to provide: flexibility to graduate students that are juggling full-time jobs, discounts to students that are in the military service, blend religious emphasis with secular studies and provide around the clock technical service for all her online members. There are many social activities that are available, such as musicals, sporting events, concerts, religious speakers and educational seminars. An important con, however, is that the program is more geared towards a degree than education. There is limited interaction with faculty, the competition is very minimal, the integral teacher feedback is decidedly missing and the education quality can certainly be increased. Another con with regards to the online degree, is that because tests are done online, there is no teacher that can interpret a vague test question. Because a class is shortened to eight weeks, teachers often do not have enough time to adequately grade and provide feedback on assignments. It must be admitted that these specific cons will be prevalent in the majority of online degrees.

Degree: Business

Liberty provides a Christian perspective to the world of business. A world that, sometimes, is not open to Christian principles and believes there is no room for a Christian in a work environment that can be brutal. However, Liberty University teaches how Godly principles can be applied to every facet of life and that everyone's needs can be accommodated without forcing Christian beliefs on others. Liberty University shapes students as Christians and into knowledgeable businessmen and women.

Degree: Management
Graduation Year: 2014

I feel that Liberty University is an outstanding University that fulfills the desired educational quality and then exceeds expectation. Also, Liberty University is a Christian university, placing Jesus Christ at the center of all courses. The tuition prices are outstanding, especially for an out-of-state student such as myself.

This program is very flexible with a working adult with a family. The instructors care about the students and are quick to give feedback and grade papers.

The online program is fantastic and allows ease of use for working students. While the financial aid leaves much to be desired, it is still a relatively affordable school.

I am so fortunate to have found he Masters of Arts program in Management and Leadership at Liberty University. The professors are very attentive and caring. They will help you in any way they can, while at the same time holding you to the standards of being a graduate student. It is a wonderful program and will prepare me for management in my career in the future.

A basic overview includes: Less expensive Becoming CACREP accredited Christian perspective Being from a minority Christian religion I have been treated well Because this is an online program it stands to reason that social life and accessibility to teachers is less than a traditional school. Liberty University is not currently CACREP accredited, which is required by my home state of Oregon, but they are in the process. Although there is a diverse range of students, this is a Christian university which limits diversity based on the fact that there is a Christian bias. For me personally, this is Liberty University's biggest strength because I am studying from a foundation of my own beliefs rather than from secular perspectives. I was somewhat concerned that as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints I might be treated like an outsider. I was gratified to learn differently and have been very comfortable with the religious perspective of Liberty University. Some of the textbooks give false information about Mormons but that has simply given me more interesting things to wrote about. When I applied they claimed that they were one of the least expensive online universities. I assume this is still true. This was one of the primary reasons I chose Liberty University.
