I think that Liberty has a great online program. I have gotten quick replies by email and always have a friendly person to talk to when I call. With it being an online program, it is difficult to find financial assistance other than student loans.

Degree: Counseling

Liberty University has a great Professional Counseling online degree program. The program offers a 48 or 60 hour track completion program and leads to professional licensure. The program can be completed at the student's pace as long as you complete within a 5 year window. The program is one of the most affordable programs that I have researched. The cons of the program are that it is very rigorous and can be difficult to complete if a person is working full time. The program also requires that you attend three intensive classes that offered only on campus. It would be helpful if the classes were offered off site.

I thoroughly enjoy and recommend the Liberty University Online Graduate Program. With working full-time, and a single mom, my schedule is very busy. I like that with this program, I am able to manage my time wisely, and do school-work when I can make the time. The educators are very helpful, and overall, each course strives to provide a well-rounded approach to the topic at hand.

My graduate program negatives are few in numbers and only one that comes to mind is the fact that it is harder to participate in on campus student activities. The positives of my graduate program are simply that I live out of the local university area and I am able to complete my entire online without having to be on campus. The professors are wonderful always responding within twenty-four to forty-eight hours ready to assist you in any way with your questions, comments, concerns or suggestions. There is online support available to online students which keep me well connected and informed. It is most helpful to know that instructors are always available to guide. Thank you Liberty for the quality education I have received thus far.

As an online student I have done well with the program. The school offers assistance with studies with a connection with the Online Library and tutor.com

Liberty University has proven to be a high quality program. I have been able to work towards an Ed.S. degree in Curriculum & Instruction while working as a high school Mathematics teacher.

I love that my graduate programs allows me to work at my own pace since I am a working mother and need the flexibility to go to get my Masters. The cons would be that most of the scholarships that are offered are mostly for resident students.

This school provide a balance of Christian and secular views. The instructors do not force their views on you but allow you to be free to express your views and make a your own decisions.

I have been attending Liberty University Online since fall 2011. I have only a couple classes left but have run out of financial aid. Attending classes online has enabled me to work the varied hours my job requires and still enables me to work on my Masters program. Liberty University Online offers assistance for class work with tutor.com which have helped me better my grades and complete assignments.
