Student & Graduate Reviews

Marquette University is reputed for being the third best university in Wisconsin. I would say that the university deserves more than that. The academic environment is so encouraging and there is the unfeigned willingness to help students excel in their studies. At the graduate level, there is a high level of respect accorded grad students. There are numerous library resources and course textbooks made available to students for their courses. One other great thing I have noticed, within my time on the campus, is that employers respect Marquette Alumni and usually specifically seek Marquette graduates for employment opportunities. There are also about 300 student organizations for sports, growth and different areas of life, of which students may partake, buoyantly.

I am currently in my 4th year of the 5 year bachelors-to-master's program that Marquette offers to its students for a Master's in Human Resources. Finding out about the program was my biggest problem-it seems as though they are hiding it from students! I have love all my classes thus far, and my professors are professionals in the field. I definitely would recommend this program to potential students.

Degree: MBA
Graduation Year: 2019

Marquette University is offering a part time Master of Business Administration program that's tailored to my needs while I work a full time job in the process. Marquette's MBA program presents great opportunities for growth and advancement within my company.

Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Adult-Gerontology Acute Care)
Graduation Year: 2018

Marquette University has provided an exceptional opportunity for me to better my life. They have listened to any concerns and have adapted accordingly in order to assist us. The professors are outstanding, the communication is excellent and the convenience of online classes combined with on the ground training is tremendous. It is truly a pleasure to be able to represent Marquette .

Degree: Physical Therapy
Graduation Year: 2019

Marquette University became my home away from home. I was blessed to be apart of the Athletic Training program and Physical Therapy program. Both programs provided me with an outstanding curriculum that pushed me to become a better clinician and better person. I began clinical work right away, which was great to apply what I learned in the classroom to real life scenarios. Marquette not only had great academic programs, it also has great clubs and organizations on campus to help students grow and meet new people.

Degree: Information Technology
Graduation Year: 2018

Beautiful campus and great location. The campus is close to Downtown where there is so much to do and so much to see. I like the class sizes as well. Every student has an opportunity to really get to know their instructors. The academic material is also challenging enough to encourage thinking. Its just a little difficult to become involved as a graduate student but otherwise great overall experience.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2019

I am a current graduate student at Marquette University and I am thus far very impressed with the program. It truly values reflection and understanding what it takes to become a counselor. I find that the clinical mental health program has challenged me nearly as much personally as it has academically. We have a high licensing rate and high test scores, but I also feel that those that go here end up becoming very well rounded. I would highly recommend this program to prospective counseling students.

Degree: Human Resources
Graduation Year: 2019

I loved my program at Marquette. Great professors, great city, great academics. It isn't in a a college town so be prepared for that if you go there. The campus isn't in the best neighborhood but it is worth it for the Jesuit ideals and great people and professors.

Degree: Engineering
Graduation Year: 2011

Overall I liked the small classroom sixes with a good mix of technology. The new engineering building makes significant improvements to the learning experience and provides numerous benefits. Most of the professors are very helpful and want to see you excel, and are willing to help in any way possible. The location is great, close to downtown, which has its benefits and drawbacks, but overall its a great school.

Marquette University school of Dentistry is a great place for Dental education. It has very motivated and well accomplished faculty which is committed to train the students and to help them achieve excellence in the field.
