Degree: Business

I love Missouri State. The student body is large enough (27,000+) to give it a big-time college atmosphere, but the campus is small enough to help with convenience.

Degree: Social Work
Graduation Year: 2006

Missouri State provided a great graduate school experience for me. The classes were small and personalized, with knowledgeable faculty members. Faculty members had multiple years of experience working in the social work field, which furthered my education.

I enjoyed my time at MSU. I did not attend on campus but did visit a few times and had a good learning experience. I would recommend the school if looking into distance learning.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2018

Missouri State really is one of the best places to pursue a degree. I also did my undergraduate degree there and I always felt like the professors really wanted me to succeed. The program that I am in right now is challenging me beyond what I thought was possible and I love it because I am growing so much. There is nothing like loving going to class, and that is what I feel like about my classes at MSU. I would highly recommend this school based on the quality of teaching and it is a pretty campus. It is also very affordable. However, it does lack diversity and parking can be a challenge!

Degree: School Counseling
Graduation Year: 2018

I have really enjoyed my time at Missouri State in the counseling graduate program. This experience has helped me to become a better professional and person overall. The guidance and model that my professors have provided me have not only prepared me for a career in this field but also have shown me what it means to be a counselor as a professional and individual. They have taught me skills that will impact all areas of my life now and in the future. My time in this program has been a once in a lifetime experience and I would not trade this experience for anything in the world.

Degree: Biology
Graduation Year: 2012

Missouri State was a great place to go to graduate school. The campus is not overwhelmingly large and the academic program for biology students is high quality. It offers many opportunities for hands-on research experience across the various sub-disciplines.
