Degree: Civil Engineering
Graduation Year: 2011

Oklahoma State University has an incredible Civil Engineering department. The professors are very approachable outside of the classroom, and are very informative inside the classroom. They always make time for their students and will do whatever it takes to help them excel in life. The professors in the department are very busy with their projects, and are constantly looking for new opportunities. They pride themselves on creating new opportunities for students through the funding they obtain through their projects. Over the years that I spent at Oklahoma State I was able to easily develop friendships with the professors and it made my program even more impactful. I wanted to exceed for myself and make my family proud, however I also wanted to help the professors accomplish their projects and share in their successes. Being a part of the program their is much more than just being a name on a piece of paper. In your time their you can easily develop yourself academically, and you will become part of a new family.

College was a great learning experience that helped me find friends that are still a large part of my life today. It also helped me decide what to do with my life and helped me to get an internship while still in school. College will not teach you how to handle money so be aware,. Debt doesn't have to be a part of your life. College is all about learning and can help you to become an adult.

I feel like the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University prepared me very well for graduate school and my future career. The professors were there to help you every step of the way, whether that be in or out of the classroom. The curriculum taught helped me gain a better perspective of what the real world of business is like.
