Pros: Classes offered night and weekends to accommodate students. The teachers are well organized and thorough in what they expect of you. Professors teach from experience and give realistic advice as well as teaching from the texts. Diverse population of students. You pretty much go through the whole program with the same students so you become close to some of them. Professors provide valuable resources to help you complete the program and get licensed. Cons: The classrooms are not located in the safest of neighborhoods. I'm afraid to walk out to my car alone.

I feel that the pros of my graduate program are awesome because I have the freedom to do my classes from anywhere at my own leisure. The cons, is that I don't get to interact with other classmates.

My experience at Troy University-Phenix City Campus is a wonderful one. The professors show true interest in your learning and marketability. They don't just teach the curriculum, they also provide real life scenarios and practical experience that will benefit the students after graduation. They are dedicated, caring professionals.

The Mental Health Counseling program offered at the global campus in Tampa by Troy University offers an excellent environment for students to not only attend Troy in their own backyard, but receive quality instruction and practice for this field in the process.
