Overall, the instructors and the delivery of each individual course was both challenging and extremely rewarding. Everyone was exceedingly helpful and I never felt as though communication was an issue. The University of Arizona got distance graduate education right.

Degree: Journalism
Graduation Year: 2019

The University of Arizona Journalism School is exceptional. Our professors have journalistic such a wide range of journalistic experience ranging from positions at National Geographic, The New York Times, and the Wall Street Journal. They do a fantastic job at passing down their wisdom to students. The program is relatively small so there are a lot of opportunities for support from professors and fellow peers as well. The school itself is open to students 24/7 with the use of our student ID cards, so it's great for pulling nighters or weekend studying. The offered courses go beyond standard journalism writing courses and also offer publication design, app design, and even reporting for international journalists. All of this and more will more than contribute to an extremely well-rounded journalistic education. I would highly recommended the J-School to all aspiring journalists.

Great school! Professors are qualified and well trained to help us prepare for a future career. Challenging environment, important to improve skills and be better. Welcoming atmosphere for other cultures. Personally, I am from Venezuela and they recognize the fact that I am international and they find the best I could share about my culture and knowledge.

Degree: Environmental Science
Graduation Year: 2019

The University of Arizona has prepared me well for my future career in environmental and water science and policy. The faculty seems to care about its students and I've felt comfortable and successful here since moving to Arizona from out of state. I would recommend the University of Arizona to other prospective students.

Degree: Political Science
Graduation Year: 2017

The University of Arizona is a great institution to enroll in either in-person or online courses. My program in International Security was conducted exclusively online and charged a flat tuition rate for students regardless of residency. This gives students a high degree of flexibility regarding their living/working situations while taking classes. Also, the university continues to invest heavily in growing its online degree programs, therefore improving the overall experience for UA Online students. Instructors are highly qualified and knowledgeable, and the coursework is both challenging and relevant. This program is well-suited for many students, although online learning demands higher levels of self-discipline and time management.

The MBA program at the University of Arizona has been beneficial to my current career as a higher education professional, especially as pertains to managing employees and building customer relations. The options for selecting courses that are applicable to receiving my degree allow me the control of customizing my education to meet my career goals. The content for the online program is provided in an easy to use manner, which makes continuing education for a working professional very easy.

University of Arizona is a great school. Located in a calm, quite, moderate-sized city of Tucson. The weather is great for 10 months and a little hot for two months which is usually when the school is closed. There are a lot of parties on and off the campus for students each week. You would have a great social life plus a very good school experience with high qualified teachers and professors.

A college education is an investment and should be treated as such. Don't go to college to get an education, but go to learn a trade that you will value for the rest of your life.

My college was nurturing and supportive. Professors cared about the progress of students. Diverse research opportunities.
