The program is just ok. The teachers have not been very good, and, with the exception of one teacher, have not really put any effort into providing a quality education. Perhaps they are overworked, but we are still paying for these classes and deserve to be treated with respect. The only good thing about my program is that EMU is known as a teaching college, and the marketability of the degree is good.

EMU has been a great experience for grad school. It caters to the working adult by hosting most graduate classes in the evening. I believe that EMU was the right decision for me!

Degree: Fine Arts

The drama/theatre for the young graduate program is very specialized and is individually catered to our career interests. We are taught by the leading professionals in this field and they are accessible for anything we need. The course material is very relevant and is great use for after our schooling is over.

Graduation Year: 2011

In the Higher Education/Student Affairs program there were some kinks and issues that needed to be worked out with the different types of classes. However, the faculty support and peer support is excellent. You can tell that the faculty go above and beyond to help students and to connect one on one with each student.

Overall EMU is a good school and I would recommend it to anyone.
