Student & Graduate Reviews

4.0 out of 5.0
Degree: Information Technology
Graduation Year: 2015

The Pros would be that it aids my bachelor degree in providing me with assistance with areas in need of a different prospective. A great team of faculty that responds very quickly. The Con might be the expensive housing near campus.

Degree: Business

NCSU is striving to increase its performance for both its current and prospective students. It has a strong focus on garnering feedback from the student body, and has been adapting its program to the niche it is trying to fill. NCSU is hiring great talent from across the country, and I have enjoyed the challenging, while thought provoking, course work.

Degree: Public Administration
Graduation Year: 2015

The program provides a strong foundation to prepare students to become effective practitioners in public service and non-profit organizations as well. As with social science programs, in most areas, the amount of financial aid is limited.

Degree: Accounting
Graduation Year: 2015

MAC program is a lot of work but prepares you for the accounting profession.
3.67 out of 5.0
Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2019

The education and connections gained through working with the North Carolina State University graduate programs will be incredibly useful, and the quality of life in the area is high.
3.83 out of 5.0
Degree: Public Administration
Graduation Year: 2015

The program does an excellent job preparing future leaders to solve the current problems in governmental service as well as the non-profit arena. A con would be the very limited amount of financial assistance in the form of assistantships, grants, and scholarships.

Degree: Architecture
Graduation Year: 2016

I really enjoy my education at North Carolina State University and I would not trade it.
4.58 out of 5.0
Degree: Public Relations
Graduation Year: 2012

Great program that truly pushed my critical thinking skills to a new level.

Degree: Anthropology
Graduation Year: 2015

This is a great program for Forensic Science majors. The workload is on par for any graduate program and you get to learn from wonderful professors. There is less support for people who specialize outside forensics.
3.5 out of 5.0
Degree: Other Engineering
Graduation Year: 2014

The classes are solid, challenging, and seem useful. Many of the professors are foreign and it may be difficult to understand them. They do top-notch research here, but a grad student who is not sufficiently assertive may not be able to connect.
