Degree: International Business
Graduation Year: 2017

The graduate program at Roosevelt is starting off the year without any complaints from me. Roosevelt has been very flexible and accommodating to their students in getting them where they need to go to be successful. The professors that I have had the pleasure of having this semester have expressed the importance of their students succeeding; with that mindset, the staff is approachable and appeases the students who are starting out.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2017

I love my graduate program! The cons are that I am enrolled in the Education: Counseling & Human Service (School Counseling Trek), but it only focuses on K-12. I am really interested in College and Career counseling. Although the department is planning to expand the curriculum to include this interest in counseling services, I don't think it will happen before I graduate.

Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2016

Pros: - Heavy emphasis on social justice - Generally friendly staff and faculty - Size is small enough to know almost all the people in your cohort by name Cons: - Doesn't offer morning classes...not getting out of class until after nightfall in downtown Chicago - No "campus" feel, just a couple buildings a few blocks apart downtown - High cost of living in Chicago...affordable housing (< $700/month) will likely mean a 25-45 commute by train

Degree: MBA
Graduation Year: 2017

Roosevelt University's main campus is located downtown Chicago, giving student easy access to all the beautiful things and events the city has to offer. My classes offer a challenging curriculum which helps keep me on my feet all the time. A major problem is most companies with MBA programs do not recruit directly from Roosevelt University.

The main advantage of the MSA program is to broaden my knowledge in accounting and get me prepared to write the CPA exam.

Degree: Biology
Graduation Year: 2017

Roosevelt offered me a lot of options that benefit adults that need to get a quality program that is career focused and provides applicable, resume building classes. I also needed a sufficient refresher class as I have not been in the academic environment for about 3 years now and they saw that and met that need with out sacrificing my long term education.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2017

The program offers a wide variety of classes from theory to skills to ethics. The teachers have for the most part been phenomenal and extremely willing to help students in any way they can. My biggest complaint is that there isn't a lot of accessible advising for students in the program, which is a problem in a field with as many options as psychology.
