"The school is very near the train station, which is convenient, but makes for a very strange social environment, which negatively impacts the camaraderie and work students do together. Although the academics are good, students working together more would be better."

"I have been an experimental physics graduate student at Rutgers University for the past 2 years. One of the best things about Rutgers is the diversity. I have made a lot of friends at Rutgers, many who have very different backgrounds. I feel that I have received a solid education so far. I have learned quite a lot about physics, especially applied physics. One of the best things about Rutgers physics are the weekly colloquium and seminars. Professors from many respected Universities give talks frequently, many which I enjoy."

"Although I don't think Rutgers rates that highly in any particular category, I have been very pleased with my graduate career thus far. This is mostly due to having had very good advisers who have taught me a lot about thinking critically, working hard, and having a high academic standard."
