Degree: Business Administration

The degree is online and is very easy and is structured very well. It helps those who work get their education without having to deal with onsite tests and lectures. The only thing I would like would be to have recorded lectures. THe class I am in does not currently have those. I'm basically just teaching myself and taking a test

Online programs are not for everyone. If you are a procrastinator or not very discipline in directed study type courses, then an online program is not for you. However, this program is available online or on campus. I chose online because online works best for my schedule. The work is not very hard or difficult, but it is time consuming. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi campus is located on Ward Island and part of a beach town about 20 minutes from the beach, depending on where you live. I have not gotten involved in any of the social or many other student groups available, but there are many to choose from. I highly recommend this campus! It is at least worth the visit.

Great atmosphere and campus! Big enough to where there are plenty of thinks to do, but still small enough to where professors know your name and recognize you outside of class. Friendly and beautiful campus as well.

TAMU-CC's Instructional Design and Educational Technology (IDET) masters program is the perfect program for a online masters degree in educational technology &/or instructional design. What better way to experience what you are learning by taking the program online? The program can be taken face to face or online. The program can also be taken two classes at a time to finish the degree in one year or one class at a time to finish the program in two years. I chose the online two year program because I work full-time in the IDET field and attending traditional face-to-face courses does not work for my schedule. Taking one class at a time helps me focus on the details of the curriculum that I do not want to miss. The quality and rigor of instruction have helped me to take what I am learning in in the program and apply IDET principles and strategies to my current work for a private higher education Christian school. The program is applicable for higher education technology professionals, teachers, or academic administrators. I highly recommend the program to any educator to take their educational career to the next level.

I am a distance learning student at Texas A&M Corpus Christi (TAMCC), enrolled in the MBA program. I am extremely pleased with the decision that I made to attend TAMCC. Although I have not experienced the campus life there, I can definitely say that the online environment, courses and instructors are great! The Blackboard is very user-friendly as well as interactive. This makes distance learning easy. The instructors are available via email, happily and eagerly to assist you with any questions and concerns. Should I have questions regarding my student account TAMUCC staff are helpful and knowledgeable in assisting me to get things done in a timely manner. Honestly, anytime I need assistance someone is always available to assist. The course are challenging, steady and relevant however, this is what to expect when you are furthering your education. I am glad that I am a TAMUCC Islander!

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2017

There are many hours that need to be spent which is a pro because the more someone studies the better for that person. Not many breaks and having to pay for tests online even after the course is paid for. There are additional costs which was mostly in the business operations course and it is monitored by people in India while you are taking the test online. The accounting courses did not require to have this being looked at from a third party.

This program is awesome! The professors are so approachable and kind. They are very supportive of my goals. One of the cons is the diversity of students in the program (some want to do PR, others research, etc.) It makes it difficult to relate to some of the other students sometimes.
