"The school is small enough to know almost everyone, but large enough to have the funding for good technology. The library is small and under funded, however. The departments are smaller, so it is easier to make close friendships with other students and professors. The campus has almost no crime or theft and is extremely clean."

"The advantage of studying in Texas A&M is that the quality of education is quite good with the AACSB accredited. Also, the students can enjoy the friendly environment with supports from professors and university's employees. However, the disadvantage is that Corpus Christi is a quite small city, so there are not much activities for students outside the school."

"Small campus with a very close-knit faculty. The University is very research oriented and is willing to work with students in getting research experience, through fellowships and grants. A new Research and Development department has started on campus and is receiving a lot of funding. Most Professors on campus have a hands-off approach to mentoring. They will assist students when asked, point them down the right path, and are always cordial about; however, the motivation behind the research is entirely laid upon the researcher. Depending on how you prefer to work this is either a pro or a con. Close to the beach and only a few hours away from San Antonio and Austin."

"The TAMU-CC graduate program offers a variety of areas to study where interest is a demand. The faculty and department is small so the professors are always available to the students. The professors are also very knowledgeable and willing to share their information with the students. The only con to the program is the class rotation system - since the faculty is small, the amount of classes offered is limited each semester. Graduating in an appropriate amount of time requires special planning on the students' part."

"There are many opportunities for advancement, but sometimes feel that am not sure who, are where to ask for advise. Counseling is great, but it's what questions to ask for a brighter and meaningful graduation. I do feel my school has a high graduation rate, and would recommend it to my friends. Knowing where to find answers was my biggest trial when I started."

"Pros: Low level competition from other students, easy acceptance into the program, beautiful working environment (both office and campus grounds), extremely helpful faculty, relaxed atmosphere, if you're interested in water, this is the place to be - longest beaches in the world, untouched areas, national park, Gulf of Mexico at the front door. Cons: Low level competition from other students, easy acceptance into the program, not much money in the university, progress is slow, the student body is entirely too Christian-fundamentalist-happy (but thankfully, not the faculty), few-to-no scholarships."

"The program is accredited and this is a bonus feature for the students when it comes to the job market after graduation."
