Degree: Health Sciences

I could not be happier with my choice of grad program. The facilities and faculty are wonderful and I feel that there are a wealth of experiences provided by the program that are not offered at other places.

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2015

I’m currently in my first class for my graduate program, so I can only comment on my experience so far. It has been a really positive experience for me. I have met quite a range of students some on their last class and some on their first class like me. The interaction with them has been very positive and encouraging. I look forward to continuing my education and being a productive student at Central Michigan University.

Degree: Nutrition
Graduation Year: 2014

Pros: Global Campus, allow transfer credit and credit by examination, availability and knowledge of advisors , technology, flat global campus tuition rate (do not pay differently for out-of-state), small class sizes, many different track options, and wide variety of students. Cons: Workload of professor (many have multiple responsibilities and therefore can sometimes be hard to reach), lack of general scholarships (many specific to certain majors), and schedule (every class is not offered every semester-availability varies)

Degree: Economics
Graduation Year: 2015

Economics is a very challenging course but at the end of the day, studying economics very well makes you as an individual an asset to any nation's economy i believe.

Degree: Economics
Graduation Year: 2015

I feel Economics is a very good course because obviously we need good economists to run each economy in the world but the abstractness of the course does not make it easier to study at all.

Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2014

Pros include: almost every student accepted into the program receives an assistantship, either half-time or full-time, and continues to receive an assistantship for each year enrolled. Also, our secretary is awesome and the administration is very supportive and helpful, always. Graduate Student Union is wonderful. Cons include: department sometimes lacks organization or knowledge of the details of some program requirements. Not always prompt to give assistantship assignments -- but you still get your tuition waiver and paychecks either way!

The MA in Education program and Central Michigan University's global campus, is very convenient for professionals looking to go back to school. The Professors are very knowledgeable and accessible. Most classes are available online, which helps fit class into your work schedule.
